You're on the right path.

I sit the **** down! lol I don't know about you guys, but I am DONE after my lifting....
-
Wow. This is exactly why I usually stay off the boards. So much banter....

You can do it. ^ Keep telling yourself that while running and just keep going. I have always felt that running long distance is 75% mental toughness. Tell yourself and believe in yourself and you will reach your goals. I started running in December of '11, ran my first 5K in March, my first 10K in September and I am now…

If you can't smoke and watch your food, you need to learn self control. I smoke on a daily basis and have had no problem losing 85 lbs. I haven't met my goal yet, but that has nothing to do with the weed. Keep tokin up if you can control your munchies. If you can't, you should probably drop it or only use it every now and…

TECH N9NE! I also listen to a lot of deathcore like Aversions Crown, Aegaeon, Whitechapel, Thy Art is Murder, and a lot of other stuff.

Thanks to everyone who read! :D

Being at a conversational pace is the key. If a 10 min/mile is a good conversational pace for you, then I wouldn't worry about it.
-
LMFAO. We actually play death metal! :3
-
I'm sure it's your increased testosterone levels....

Always go with pre-cooked weight. The stuff that gets lost when cooking, is not enough to even make it something worth counting.
-
You look great in both the after and before shots! :)

I'd say just bring it up with them. At least the few that really mean something to you. If you mean anything to them like they do to you, then it won't bother them at all and they will understand. If they don't understand for whatever reason, then they probably aren't the best friends to have...

RAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIDDDDEERRRRRSSSSS!!!! I bleed SILVER AND BLACK! Raider born, Raider bred, Raider head until I'm dead! I went through every page in this thread and found only 3 other Raider fans! LAME! lol. It is tough to be a Raider as of the past decade though.... ANYONE that is a Raider fan, add me!

Thanks for the suggestions and keep em coming if anyone has more! I am really only asking so I can gain knowledge, at this point, I know what is working for me nutritionally and physically so I am going to stick with that. Simply looking to learn some stuff I may not find in other stuff. haha

Sounds like a great day of food!

I concur with his statement.

FELLOW METAL HEAD! I do admit though, I am really only a big Death metal/Deathcore guy. I don't like much metal outside of that except for the good ole 'tallica! I am also in a metal band! I am the vocalist for Commotio Cordis! Check us out if you have a spare second and an liking for heavy ****! :D…

Thanks guys and Rae! :D Will definitely keep all of these tips in mind tonight when lifting and let you guys know how it went. Maybe I can get some video of it to post, but my phone sucks, so no guarantees. lol

Check out the StrongLifts 5x5! That will start you out light on the weights and gradually get you to the HEAVY LIFTING! :D http://stronglifts.com/

I agree! Having an android app would make life simpler. I personally have just created an excel spreadsheet that has my weights listed all the way through the first 3 monthsish of my lifting. If I fail reps then I edit it from there and make the appropriate changes. It helps me keep track of my stuff as well as all of my…

Aww! hahah. That is awesome. He will get it one day because he will want to be strong like his momma! :D

^Highly recommend the StrongLifts 5x5, but you have to use a Barbell.

I have absolutely fallen in love with running. I started out not being able to run for more than 2 minutes without being winded, and can now run 5K distances consistently and I do it outside! Like you I started on the treadmill and when it warmed up I transitioned to outside running. It was WAY harder than I expected but…

I highly recommend checking out www.stronglifts.com. I was also pretty new to lifting and I am following that lifting routine and am absolutely loving it. I have been at it for about a month and can already feel a difference in my strength.
