For me it means committment to eating healthy foods and making good choices when I eat. Like eating a good breakfast: oatmeal & fruit or greek yogurt & baby carrots versus two bowls of fruity pebbles with whole milk. Exercising regularly committing to it and actually doing it. Losing weight is math...burn more calories…

I have struggled with this too! I've been eating under calories (not really on purpose) so I'm bumping up intake and I've actually bought some protein shakes to fill it. I feel better eating a big more. A boiled egg helped me too.

I agree! It is a personal, individual choice. Everyone has different medical conditions that may or may not merit needing this tool to help them. Skinny people who have never had weight issues look at overweight people and think we just eat too much and we are lazy. Aren't we doing the very same thing if we say bariatric…

It depends on what you were talking about and if family members were nearby he may not want them involved in the conversation therefore is going to pretend nothing is wrong to the rest of the world. Having serious talks is something I try to reserve for when alone and able to focus on them.

I have about the same amount to lose and that same thing worries me. Losing at a stedy pace can help and so will keeping yourself hydrated...I'm trying both these things. Also moisturize with lotion!

I seem to have the opposite. I can walk outside for a lot longer but all in all I have the problem with my feet and legs. I do have orthos for my feet. Monday I start Physical therapy for me feet/legs to see if they can assist.

I'd see a podiatrist first. But I will share that I spent over $500 on a pair of orthos at podiatrist and the $50 Dr. Scholls work just as well for my poor, low arch. First she must be treated.

Some things I have tried: If they have fish and salad I move in that direction. I have asked for the salad to be made. Most places have lettuce and salad fixings. I met with a nutritionist/dietician and she was fabulous. I did not know how much of what I needed to eat eat day to get the proper nutrients and this was a big help to me. Once I had a plan I was better able to outline how I needed to eat so I was eating healthy not just low cal.

I always notice in my legs since I am blessed (not) with skinny legs but a plump middle. I'm like, really??? Why in my legs? Feels like the waistline is the last to go with me-but could seem like this since its the biggest part?

I just realized yesterday that I am not getting out of breathe carting loads of laundry from basement to first floor and hanging out on the line! I was so thrilled!!! And I can roll over in bed at night without feeling like I'm hefting thousands of pounds from side to side!
