  • Your body will start using it. It is actually amazing how much water our bodies really do need. Give it a couple of weeks - that's how long it took me. I drink 32 oz before leaving for work at 8:00 am and drink another one before lunch. Then I work on the last one between lunch and before going to bed. This way I'm not up…
  • I asked the same question months ago and got a ton of suggestions: Here are a few: I am 52, but like many different kinds of music. some of my favorites are: 867-5309 WHITE WEDDING barbie girl beat it born to be wild call the ships to port cathedral anything abba cleveland rocks come on feel the noise EASY LIVIN' by uriah…
  • Just do it!
  • Yeah - I get a little sweaty too, but I to do this all in the late afternoon so sitting a little sweaty before going home is so worth it. :)
  • We finished a great workout room and used the interlocking tiles from Lowes. Love it and is simple to install. Started from one end of the room and worked down. Good luck and you'll love it. I also put mine underneath my elliptical and treadmill, but didn't need to, but it worked.
  • You may not see this post, but what everyone has said will help (icing with water bottle, lots of stretching (lots) especially before you get out of bed. I have had problems with this for the last 2 years. One foot gets pretty good and then the other starts hurting again. I have done all that doctors suggested except for…
  • someone should start an "increase your water" challenge. I would - but haven't a clue how.
  • Right on! I love it. Thanks for your input.
  • yes I suppose you don't need 8 glasses of water a day - your body can get by without it because it has to/can get it from other sources, but it sure has made a difference with me ;)
  • I am also scared of eating my exercise calories. I am on a 1250 diet. Most days I stick to the 1250, but a couple/three days a week my body tells me that I'm hungry and I eat a couple hundred of those exercise calories. Your body will let you know, if you listen. With me, it took my body a couple of months to get "in the…
  • Thanks everyone for your support and suggestions. Carry on :)
  • Wow - thanks for all the responses. Can't believe all these suggestions. You guys are great!
  • These are great. Thank you so very much. I will check them all out. Oh how I love this program!
  • Megmariew1, Your post sounds exactly like mine. I am also 5.2 and have 50 to lose. I have been doing this for 2 1/2 months and have only lost 5 pounds - given the day that I weigh. Every time I get on the scales, I lose the same 2 pounds over and over. I am also staying close to my 1200 sometimes going a little over and…
  • Your body is mad at you :) but you can show it who's boss. I'm having the same problem. Three weeks of hard work and I got nothin. But I know it sometimes takes a couple of months to see the scale move. You also could be losing inches. In just the three weeks I have been working out - intense workouts and it sounds like…
  • It's frustrating I know. Just over a year ago I was the biggest I had ever been. I'm 5.2 and weighed 218. I was in a size 20/22 depending on the cut. I decided that I had had it with always being the largest friend, the biggest mom, and the biggest wife. I didn't sleep well because my arms would fall asleep as I tried to…
