If you are constantly frustrated with the same person never doing what you expect them to do, the problem isn't with them, that means it is time to alter your expectations.

Share the best advice you've ever been given. It doesn't have to apply to weight loss, either.

Mine is "You have to stop believing other people's lies."

Comparison is the thief of joy.

    This one is awesome!

-Leap and the net will appear (love it so much it's a tattoo now!)

-Never argue with a fool, a passerby won't know the difference

-Never say anything to yourself that you wouldn't say to your best friend.

    - Where love is concerned you must decide early..do you want to be right or do you want to be happy?

Lots of good ones above. A few tidbits of wisdom that I try to remember:

    1) Those who know the least, know it the loudest.

    2) In the words of the immortal Bob Robertson (voice of Washington State University athletics): "Always be a good sport, be a good sport in all ways"

    3) Never put off something for the future that you might wish you had done that day. You never know how the future will play out.

My dad, when teaching me how to drive...

"So, remember this, the guy in front of you is a slow idiot, the guy behind you is a crazy maniac. Now put yourself in their shoes."

... taught me a lot about perspective...

Be careful what you think because thoughts turn into words, words turn into actions, actions become behaviors, and your behaviors shape your character
