Hi I’m Nancy and I’m from the Peak District in the UK. Looking for some friends for accountability. At 42 I’ve just hit the perimenopause and the weight has been easy to gain and hard to get off. Feel free to add me x

I just keep within my calories each day, it’s easy at the moment because I’m not going out much because of the virus. I food plan and batch cook each week so if I’m ever too exhausted there’s a fresh healthy meal in the freezer. My biggest challenge is my illness, I have ME so it can make everyday life a struggle. I’m…

Hi I’m Nancy I’m a newcomer to OA but not to the steps. I’ve been in another fellowship for over 15yrs. I’m just starting my journey in OA and I’m looking for friends on here for support x

Hi I’m Nancy I’m on day 4 today I’m just figuring how all this works so I’m on the trial and error for my trigger foods. I know sugar is a big no no so I’m trying to avoid that. I’m on Step 4 with my sponsor so things seem to be going well so far. I’m looking for some friends on here who follow OA. Please add me if you…

Hi I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue early this year. I started eating low carb and pacing my exercise. I can lead a pretty normal life if careful. I fell off the wagon food wise during a flare up but I’m planning to get back to it this week. I’ve lost 34lbs this year with little to no exercise. It can be done

I joined three weeks ago and I hate it. I'm now logging my food here and going to the meeting pretending i'm following the plan lol

You are a true inspiration. I really hope this can be me next year. I have exactly the same weight as you to lose.
-
Hi I'm new here, I'm just starting my journey. I'm 25 miles in and sitting at camp overlooking the shire :)
-
Thanks for the adds everyone. I think the exam stress is killing me via chocolate. I've dumped my sugary junk food so hopefully that will help.
-
Hiya I'm Nancy and I'm a yoyo dieter on here but after few health scares I've decided to grow up and get this weight off. Would love some more UK friends :)
-
Back from a long break with lots of extra baggage :(
-
Yeah I could never get used to Map My Run, I use Runkeeper on my Galaxy note and it works fine.
-
Wow you have really inspired me. I feel like I've been on a constant diet for years and it's been miserable. I've decided to eat healthy food this year and exercise more. No more stupid diets.
-
Love the 5:2 diet. It's helped me both physically and mentally. My doctor can't believe the improvement in my health. Yes I am losing weight but this diet is more for my overall health. There are so many benefits but the best is that I haven't had a single panic attack is 7 weeks since I started. I've followed all other…

It's worked for me. I lost 11lbs in first month and I steadily lose each week. My portions are no longer out of control, I understand hunger now and my health is the best it's ever been. For me it's all about health and the weight loss is an added bonus.
-
It's 500 calories and no eating the exercise calories back. Like everyone said, it's not a quick fix, it's a complete lifestyle change.
-
I really enjoyed this show but it didn't really tell me anything I didn't know. I lost weight with Weight Watchers twice and guess what? I put all of it back on and more because WW doesn't teach about healthy eating it just preaches calorie/point counting which is utter crap and tries to sell their junk food products to…

Welcome, it's great to start on the weight loss journey. It's really amazing when you start to log and see the calories in everyday items. Cheese was a huge eye opener for me. Good luck with your weight loss :)

He seems interested to me not jealous. I love running with my husband and as the pounds are flying off I like to run behind him to watch his *kitten*. I do understand the need to have a bit of you time though.

I haven't seen a massive reduction, my boobs are less full but I've breast fed 4 kids so I'm not expecting perky boobs after that abuse. I weight lift and it does lift them a bit. Never having a boob job though but tummy tuck? hell yeah.
