I know there are shoes designed to mimic being barefoot, and a lot of them are like 100$. I just workout barefoot on carpet. I'm sure it would work well on a mat or something. Regular shoes seem to catch on the carpet and cause my knees to twist. I just like barefoot better but I don't have any foot injuries, or anything,…

Dry beans and rice, whole chickens, potatoes, onions, frozen veggies, oatmeal. We don't buy bagged salad anymore instead buy the lettuce and other stuff seperately and make it yourself. We usually have canned diced tomatoes to add to all kinds of stuff. We have cut our grocery bill in half. We don't buy any frozen meals or…

I wish I lived in an area I could walk places to more. Everything is spread out, without many sidewalks.

My husband has made comments a bunch of times about not wanting me to be "like a bodybuilder" I am using 8 lb weights, so I don't have much fear of that! I would try to find a gym that is month to month, so he is not afraid that you won't use it.

I'm only a few lbs heavier than you. Right now I'm doing power90 for weights and turbo jam the other days. Some days I go hiking instead of turbo jam since we are having such great fall weather lately.

Change your calorie goal to maintanance, and it will tell you how much. WTG on your weightloss!

I find stevia tastes great in everything....except coffee. That is the number one thing I use sweetener in!
-
Can I join? I will see if my husband is up for it when he gets home tonight.

Just eat something! I can't fall asleep if my tummy is rumbling.

I don't think it comes with an official schedule. Just alternate cardio and weight days and you should be good. I have the dvds but haven't done them yet.

Google crepitus. I have had this same issue since I was little. I've never had any real pain, but lots of crackling and popping noises when I go up stairs, or do squats. Years ago my family doctor said it was nothing to worry about if there wasn't pain. He didn't order xrays or do any kind of real tests, so who knows.

Good protein and lost of veggies keep me full. I've also noticed I don't get as hungry as I did in the beginning. I think I just needed some time to adjust to the smaller portions.

I've lost 24 pounds and stopped smoking since about two months ago. I did one of the stupidest things in my life a few days ago and had "just one". Of course that one led to many more. I am so disappointed in myself. :(

My husband bought some bc he thought it was healthy, and didn't read the label. It is so yummy but not something I want in the house from now on. Maybe if they made single servings of it.

I am on day 50 of power 90. I like it but have gotten completely sick of the cardio dvd. I am doing a hybrid with it and turbo jam, sort of. I do the weight workout from p90 3x a week and do whatever I feel like for cardio 3-4 x a week. Today I went on an hour and half long hike. Some cardio days I do zumba or a random…

I was just thinking about this today. 4 months would be new years, and 40 lbs for me would be just under 200. I think I am going to shoot for this but not going to beat myself up if it doesn't happen.

I froze a water bottle and roll it under my foot after exercise. The stretch where you are standing in front of a wall and leaning forward has helped me the most. I don't know how to explain in properly so maybe you can google it.

I have gained since living with my, now, husband. I think I had somehow gotten it into my head that I could eat the same amount as him. I would make a main dish and just divide it in half.
-
I would like to do this with you all! I've had the dvd for a while, and have done level 1 a few times. I know my knees will not allow me to go 30 days strait through though.

I quit about 6 weeks ago. You might not like this advice but for me cold turkey is the only thing that works. All the nic replacements just kept me addicted and craving.
-
I quit smoking 7/9 of this year and have lost 18 lbs since then. Instead of replacing cigs with food I have replaced them with exercise. In the beginning I probably exercised 3 hours a day sometimes lol. You can do this! I put off quitting for years for fear of gaining.

Wow, big difference! Good work.

Wow! Huge difference. WTG!!!

Everything I read says to eat them. I eat some of them...but it makes me really uneasy when I do. The times I have eaten them I have lost more weight!
-
I like finding new trails to hike. I am lucky to have several pretty close by. If I am walking along a sidewalk or on a paved trail I NEED my mp3 player to keep me going. I don't have special shoes, but I haven't been doing as many miles as you. Congrats on the weightloss.

I usually have one drink, then a large water before my next drink. Seems to keep me from over indulging and prevents hangovers.
-
Thanks for posting this. I'm doing power 90 right now, day 24. I'm hoping I have results even half as good as these!
-
I quit 16 days ago. I have been exercising a lot.
-
I have been dipping into them if I am truly hungry. I am with you though. It seems counter productive.

It's a workout for us, but we have just stated, and we both have a lot to lose. I am not gonna lie, tony's jokes get annoying pretty fast lol.
