Today I only ate 500 calories because I was super busy and didnt have time to think about it, and now it is 9:40 pm and Im ready for bed but im STARVING and super crancky from not eating. I know I shouldnt eat this late at night; is it better to go to bed hungry after only consuming 500 calories or should I eat this late at night?

Just eat something! I can't fall asleep if my tummy is rumbling.0

I agree. Have something light.0

Please eat.
It is a myth that eating must stop after a certain time. I would only avoid something if it would interfere with sleep, such as caffeine.

why can't you eat late at night? there is no arbitrary cut off time where eating is bad0

Eat ~ There is even something called intermediate fasting, basically you dont eat all day, then get all your calories in an 8 hr window, usually late at night. Plus you'll wake up sick tomorrow if you dont, as bad as you feel now you'll feel that much worse tomorrow ~ I know that from personal exp, cause I used to be really bad to forget to eat0

Eat!
Real food not junk, so you give your body some nutrition.
And then plan a healthy breakfast and some easy snacks for tomorrow before you go to bed.0 -
Oops, sorry, double post.
Oh well, I'll say it again.

I always save enough calories to have some sherbet about 1/2 hour before I go to bed it also helps to keep the metabolism going while you sleep if you eat a little something.0

Eat. It's an hour later here and I'm going to eat more.0

Just for the sake of being redundant....eat something (healthy)!0

eat something. a slice of pizza or a big bowl of cereal. just as long as its healthy. in my opinion, you shouldn't eat less then an hour before going to bed, but mitigating circumstances... knock yourself out.0

This! There really isn't a rule that says you can't eat after a certain hour. Your body is working all night long.

EAT! I totally enjoy a PB&J before bed (and it's the REAL peanut butter - JIF!!!) with a glass of milk. I work afternoon shifts and don't get home until 11pm and sometimes I haven't eating since 1pm - I eat when i'm hungry and I don't care what time of the day it is0

eat! yes! only reason I don't eat after 7 pm at night is because I get terrible heart burn and chest pains if i do.... darn gallbladder issues!0
