I have a 5 yr old son... after he was born, I managed to lose 38 lbs in about a year. Then because of laziness and breast cancer, I have now gained back all but 16 of that. I'm back on track as of yesterday (LOL) because I'm getting married in August and don't want to look like a stuffed sausage in my dress!

I'm in... My name is Kelly and I'm 43. I weigh 174 (5'5" with lots of muscle from being a volleyball player) at the moment and I'd ultimately like to be around 150 for my wedding in August. I will not look like a stuffed sausage in my wedding dress! LOL

This exactly... sounds like your friend is a bit toxic regarding your attempts to lose weight. Don't let it derail you! Carbs are not bad in and of themselves... in fact, they are necessary. You just need to pick good ones and potatoes are just fine!

One of my favorite things in the fall is spaghetti squash... cut it in half and then scoop out the insides. You will see how it comes out just like spaghetti! I finally invested in a heart rate monitor to make sure I was being as accurate as possible with my calorie burns.... it's made a difference for me, but going with the lower of the two values would be best if you don't want to get one.

I agree with this... if you have a female, get her spayed. If the kitty is a male, get him neutered. You will have to put paper in the litter box after the surgery for a while though as to not encourage infection. I was also going to suggest counseling... a friend of mine recently had his wife commit suicide (not the same, but... ) and he says it has really helped him having an unbiased person to talk to.

For example, if you said you were sedentary when you filled out your profile and FItBit thinks you burned more calories that particular day, it will give you extra... if you are less active, which is me alot since I have a desk job, it will take some away. It gives me a kick in the rear when it's taking calories…

I eat breakfast, but it usually isn't until around 10-10:30am. First thing, I have a glass of water and my coffee. My breakfast usually consists of 1-2 hard boiled eggs and a Greek yogurt. Then I eat at normal times during the rest of the day. If you don't want to eat first thing, don't... do what works for you!

I wear a heartrate monitor when I do my cardio and even when I play volleyball, since I consider that cardio as well. I also wear a Fitbit all day to track other activity that I don't log as exercises in MFP. Since they sync, I think I am getting a very accurate total of calories burned.

Yesterday I did 25 mins on the elliptical and 15 on the recumbent bike. Tonight, I am playing an hour of indoor volleyball.

I had the Ultra, the original one, and replaced it with the One. I love it! I would get the Flex, but I wear the One when I play volleyball and volleyball isn't exactly condusive to having wrist impediments!

This... make sure if your son knows that Santa isn't real that he doesn't ruin it for other kids whose parents enjoy the tradition of Santa. I like the tradtiion and if someone told my son it was a lie, I'd be livid!
