yes the shoes can cause the pain, and either inserts or new shoes will definitely help. I used to have the same problem with shin splints and the right shoes helped alot.

it isn't an easy way out, i know people that have had gastric bypass or the lapband surgery. It's simply a tool to help you. If you do not follow the rules that go along with it you will make yourself extremely uncomfortable and it won't work.

i don't know about 10 foods, but I try to keep fiber one bars, skinny cow ice creams, low sugar fudgecicles, and tea.

i'm not a huge water drinker either, so I started off with switching to diet soda. and just watch the portions, i think that's a big thing for most people, as for exercise you're probably fine with chasing after your kid, I know the days i spend more time with my kids i tend to lose more than days when they aren't around…

i generally eat what ever i want, just in moderation. I also love ruffles and french onion dip, i could sit there and eat a whole jar of it at one time. or eat half a cake within a day. now i just have one piece of cake, and i actually have to avoid the chips all together. intesad i make popcorn a lot more.

true they are high in calories, however these natural good fats actually satisfy you. unlike a candy bar, you eat and you're hungry again in like 10 mins.

generally you'll lose more weight at first and then the weight loss will taper down. I droped 30 lbs in less than 3 months, but now it's tapered down, and I'm losing about 1 - 2 per week.

most important is probably going to see your DR if it's that bad, you may need new shoes, are you rolling your ankle at all while running?

i find that I'm more awake throughout the day if i work out in the morning, but I personally have a mach harder time getting to it. I like to work out early afternoon, that's when my energy from the day starts to drop and I find a work out picks me back up.

when I'm really sore a day or two after a work out i start on an elliptical to warm up the muscles and make sure to strech. other than that I don't have a lot for you.
