Idea for my newest ink....

I am going to get my newest tattoo this weekend. Its going to be a literary tat, done in an old-school typewriter font, and if you look at my profile pics, I am getting it beside my bird tat, kinda sideways to the bird....I am trying to decide between two different quotes taken from Anne Sexton's writings.....just curious to others opinions.....

The 1st, taken out of her poem, Suicide Note;
"At night the bats will beat on the trees, knowing it all, seeing what they sensed all day."

The other, taken out of her poem, The Ambition Bird;
"All night dark wings flopping in my heart; Each an ambition bird."

So which do you like better?

    Ambition Bird..... if you were placing it next to a bat I would choose #1.... but since it's a regular bird I'm going with #2

    i agree with above, seeing your putting it next to a bird, I recomend the bird quote.

    The word "Flopping" didn't sound very poetic...I couldn't picture that word next to a creature such as a bird. Or a birdcage for that matter. hah..

    OR you could change the word flopping to flitting...it's more bird-y. Even if it's not word for word to the poem.
