I recently got a Jillian Michaels DVD, $10 a walmart. I use the xbox but I do have both. There is this great game for xbox that is like a real personal trainer. MFP uses BMR to calculate calories. You should always eat back these calories. TDEE is calculated with your exercise so do not eat back your calories.

Just walk!! That's what I do. I also use my xbox Kinect... if I can't manage it I try and try the next day etc. I know one day I will get where I want to be! Welcome!

I've read the best way to measure weight loss when you are eating TDEE is to do actual measurements. Some say you will see it there first since you won't be losing a lot of muscle mass.

Have you considered starting a garden? I know some people do that where they supplement the expensive stuff they need for their families in the garden. Plus, it burns calories and can be a family activity!

Nuts, seeds, fruits and veggies. Or if you need something low cal but still feel like your snacking on something bad (like me lol) I shop at Aldi and they have the Fit and Active brand. Great stuff, delish, low cal!
