Wow thank you all for such amazing words! I think you all are right. I'll focus on losing a smaller amount and being able to maintain that and being happy. And to just not stress about it and enjoy my trip.

I have the Garmin Vivofit. It does steps, swimming, miles ect. But paired with the HRM strap it will give you an accurate workout calorie count! I love it. AND you don't have to charge it and it's waterproof!

I did it. I lost about 26 lbs in a month. I WAS NOT HUNGRY. However the downside is that it doesn't teach you to eat right. So I gained a lot back once I was finished.

It says that you have already lost 12lbs so if you lose another 12lbs by the time you back to school thats 24lbs - trust me people will notice!

Thanks for all the responses! I forgot to add that I am a teacher so I usually ate around 6am and now that I'm off for the summer I'm not up at 5am anymore, I'm up later so perhaps thats why my eating schedule has been off

I found the best thing to help me was to up my calories to 1500 and to keep my Carbs 100 or less! I noticed instantly a change.

I quit 4 yer ago. I smoked 2 pks a day of Marb. Reds - I gained 35lbs. Now Im trying to lose it all - the weight was worth it not to be smoking anymore

I would agree that he might feel a little threatened. If you look "too good" then he might think other guys will think so as well.... do what makes YOU feel good! In the end you are the only one that will be with you your entire life.

i have the Nike+ App which has a pedometer and all sorts of tracking :) But is is on my nano! So it think it is a different Nike+ app. Ny nano is the size of a half dollar and clips on. And it has a touch screen. It awesome! I would recommend getting one. It hold 4,000 songs, pedometer, pictures, clock, ect.

I was eating 1200 calories and the scale didn't budge. i am now eating around 1500 and it started to move the next day! Try upping it a little :) best of luck! Add me if you're like :)

I had the same situation last night. You could get a salad but instead I got a Hamburger Happy Meal w/ Diet coke. It was only 350 calories.

I do the same thing. I chew Trident gum since it's sugar free. When I feel like randomly eating I chew gum first and if I truly am hungry then I go eat but usually that cuts the cravings :)

I am very sorry that you were treated like that when you were younger! I have the same issue but what I think is if they are my true friends they don't care what I look like (in a negative way). Also, if they really did they wouldn't invite you to go swimming! After the first time your anxiety will go down I promise! good…
