i plan to start lifting March 1st. At that point, I'll have 15 pounds to lose in about 3 months. I was planning on doing cardio and a calorie deficit TuEs thur sat and lifting at maintenance m w f. Deficit
If I have a 1500 calories allowance and burn 1000 with exercise daily, will my body respond the same as if I ate 500 calories with no exercise (aside from metabolic changes due to exercise). I guess I'm wondering if your body is not getting enough calories either way.

I am currently approaching a normal BMI- about 26. I have mainly been walking/jogging and just got down to 39 mins on a 3 mile hilly nature trail. Walking/jogging speed
I have been walking/jogging for 15 weeks, 8-10 miles/wk. I can't seem to jog for more than 2-3 minutes no matter what my pace is. Are protein bars healthy?
When I up my protein calories, If I don't eat protein bars during the day, I have to eat 8-10oz meat for dinner to reach my goal. The protein bar is easier because I can eat it at anytime and don't feel like I am stuffing myself. Are bars healthy?
