3lbs from goal and I don’t like my new body
I lost 50lbs in a year. I’m close to my goal but I hate the way I look. My butt is flat and I still have a lot of stomach fat. My whole reason for dieting was to lose stomach fat. I have, but at the cost of losing my behind! I don’t know what to do now… BBL?!? lol

Not feeling it in my glutes….,
I just started strength training at home. I’ve been using a case of water as weight while doing squats, hip thrust and deadlifts. I do not feel that my glutes are being worked. I feel pain in my knees and hamstring. Am I doing something wrong?

Is it ok to get most of your protein from protein shakes
I’m just about to start lifting. I estimate that my normal protein intake is about 45grams a day. My goal now is about 105g (I'm a 145lbs woman). Would it be ok to add like to 30g protein shakes daily to reach my goal? That seems to easy….

Does protein help with weight loss?
I know that people who want to build muscle need to consume an adequate protein amount but if I’m just trying to lose weight, does protein matter?

Trying to lose my last 10lbs
I’ve lost 45lbs since April 2021. I have 10 more to go to reach my goal of 145lbs. Since last month I’ve been losing and gaining the same 1-1.5lb. I’m eating 1500 calories a day and doing 45 mins of cardio 3-4 times a week. What should I change?

What if I reach my goal and stop working out
Probably a dumb question but, I recently lost 45Lbs and my butt is now non existent lol. I’m now 10 lbs away from my goal and want to focus on building my glutes. If I start lifting and build muscle and then when I’m satisfied with my body I stop lifting, will I maintain the muscle or lose it?

Losing weight but not belly fat
I have lost about 45lbs in 9 months. I started just above 200lbs and now I’m at 155lbs.( I’m 5’5 btw) while I do see a difference in my stomach area, I still have a lot of fat around my waist. I know I can not spot reduce fat but my stomach was the main area I wanted to lose and it is so discouraging. Could it be that I’m…

Tips to break plateau
Anyone has any tips on how I can break my plateau. I’ve been at the same weight 172lbs for over 2 weeks. I started at 200lbs 4 months ago. I’m eating 1200-1400 calories a day and not really active. Should I increase activity? Take a break and eat at maintenance for a week? I don’t think I should cut calories since I’m…

Is this a plateau
My starting weight was 200lbs, my current weight is 183lbs(as of this morning). I keep losing and gaining the same 1lb for the past two weeks. I’ve only been dieting for 2 months, isn’t it to early to hit a wall?

High carb diet
I’ve been eating a lot of carbs while dieting. 150-200 a day. I am eating at a 500 calorie deficit. Will eating so many carbs hinder my weight loss? I know people say a calorie is a calorie and it doesn’t matter as long as I’m not over eating but I also hear so much talk about not eating a lot of carbs because they turn…

Losing 1-2lbs a week
I keep seeing that a person should not lose more than 2 lbs a week. However, I see people losing 100 lbs in 6 months. How is that possible?

Lose weight without being active
I am currently 194lbs 5’5. I started dieting 3 weeks ago. I have lost about 3 lbs in total. I am eating 1200-1400 cals a day. I am mostly sedentary. I do not exercise. This week I didn’t lose any weight and I feel like I’m starving myself. My goal is to lose 1lb a week. Am I being unrealistic?

Diet for chronic pain
I want to try to see if changing my diet will help with my suspected autoimmune disease. I have been in chronic pain for years that’s getting worst. I want to try a new diet for at least 30 days to see if I can tell a difference. What should I cut out? What should I add?

No soreness
If I don’t wake up sore the day following starting a new strength training workout does that mean I didn’t go hard enough?
-
Should I exercise?
Ok, hear me out.... I eat only 1200 cals because I’m inactive most of the day. I’m 5’5 158lbs goal is 140. Should I exercise if I’m already eating low calories?

Lose weight first?
I’m 18lbs from my goal weight of 140lbs(5’5) During this weight loss journey I’ve pretty much lost my behind. Almost flat as a pancake :( my question is do I just continue focusing on losing the weight and then start working out OR start incorporating strength exercises now? Will it be a waste of time while eating at a…

Weight loss is weird
Ok, on Saturday I posted a question on why didn’t I lose weight this week. I weigh myself every Saturday and this past Saturday I didn’t lose the two pounds I usually lose every week. Today, Tuesday, I step on the scale and I’m down 3 pounds! I’m not mad but Whyyy?

I didn’t lose weight this week
Starting at 180 and currently at 165. I’ve been losing 2lbs a week consistently for a month. Today I’m the same weight I was last week. I don’t know why

Dissatisfied with body after weight loss
I’ve lost 15 lbs in the last 7 weeks. Any problem area was my stomach, I was pretty much fine with the other parts. I do see a difference in my stomach but, the biggest difference I see is in my behind. Its getting really flat. It’s so frustrating since I have about 20lbs to go. I’m sure I’ll have a pancake butt by the end…

When will I see weight loss
I’ve went from 181 to 170lbs but I don’t see much of a difference. My stomach still looks the same :(

Calories and carbs
If weight lost is truly calories in vs calories out. Why are we told to limit carbs and sugars to avoid gaining weight? I just watched a video of a doctor saying that eating sugar/carbs causes the body to store fat and use sugar for energy.
-
It’s more to weight loss and gain then calories
If that was true why are some people able to eat as much food as they want and remain thin, while others (like myself) can eat in moderation and still gain weight.
-
Weight Fluctuations
Why is it that I can eat “healthy” all week to lose a lb, then have a cheat meal...ok, a cheat day and gain 2lbs
-
All about calories
Is that all that matters in weight loss? Does it matter if I’m eating mostly carbs? So, if I decide to spend my 1200 calories on two slices of pizza today and a burger and fries tomorrow I’ll still lose weight?
-
Weight gain and exercise
Is it normal to weigh more the morning after strength training exercises ? Like a pound or so? BTW I am new to exercising

Calories TOO low
I’m confused! I’m seeing a lot of people saying that 1200 calories is too low of a goal. So what will happen if a person eats “too low”? Shouldn’t the body start burning fat if the person isn’t eating enough calories? It’s like, eat less calories but not too much less...frustrating
