I’m confused! I’m seeing a lot of people saying that 1200 calories is too low of a goal. So what will happen if a person eats “too low”? Shouldn’t the body start burning fat if the person isn’t eating enough calories? It’s like, eat less calories but not too much less...frustrating

"Too much less" means
* unnecessarily sacrificing lean mass (which initially means muscle),
* making it difficult to meet all nutritional needs within a limited calorie budget,
* potentially impairing any training and fitness goals by leaving you without enough energy for workouts
* for some people, setting up a cycle of over-restriction and over-indulgence
* if restrictions are too great, risking a variety of health effects that take a while to see and then take a while to recover from, such as damage to hair, nails, and skin, immune system impairment, and suppression of reproductive systems functions.
