strength training and lifting gloves
I lift relatively heavy and never had to use gloves. Lately I am at a weight that really hurt my hands and it make it hard to lift. I also have very sweaty hands and it makes the bar slippery. I am in a gym that does not allow chalk. In your opinion, should I buy myself lifting gloves or avoid those and suck it up?

The mesuring tape is also a liar

Here is one very good exemple : http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/580019-the-scale-is-a-lying-torture-device-i-m-proof So many times we will say “use the measuring tape” and it is a better way to know if things are going in the right direction.…

Nothing is changing….but something is changing
The scale and the measuring tape are great tools. We see the numbers going up or down and we know if we are doing ok or not. Sometimes those tools show no changes. It does not mean that changes are not happening, it just mean that those tools are not equipped to measures the changes that are happening. Since a picture is…

What books in those genres do you recommend? Doesn't need to be new, just the kind of book you do not want to close and is worth making cold cereals supper when your family say they are hungry :) Right now for me, is "the strain " from Del Toronto.
