I wanted to go to the gym this morning but we are in the midst of a snow/ freezing rain/ rain storm and I couldn't have got there and back in enough time to be at work on time. Made myself exercise.
This morning when I woke up, I logged my exercise before I did it. We took the dogs for a 40minute walk. After that, I went to the gym and did 30 minutes on the elliptical and 30 minutes of weight training. I had to... I had already logged it! Maybe this is a subtle way of nagging myself.:wink:

75 lbs down!!!!!
As of today I am half way to my goal. I have lost 75 lbs and I have every intention of getting rid of the next 75 as well. This is a great day for me. I haven't been this weight since I was a teenager....that was a couple of years ago:laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Clothes
I went shopping last night because once again I have baggy clothes. I tried a blouse on that was a size 16, a size I have not been since I was in grade 10 ( I am now 47 years old). The blouse fit and even looked great on me!!! My daughter was with me giving me high 5s!

I love the measuring tape!!!!
I have lost 10 " from my hips and 9" from my waist since January. I lost a lot at first but then it slowed. I have worked with a personal trainer for three sessions and it is starting to go away again.

When the scale won't move.....
The tape measure will!!! My scale has been stagnant this week. I have been working out, eating well within calories and have been feeling great. The scale doesn't show my effort. So last night, I got out the tape measure and I was down another inch from my hips!!! That is 11 inches less booty than there used to be!!!!

Lordy Lordy... I've lost Forty!!!
After a week of no loss, I upped my calories one day and then the next two I dropped them down and worked out hard. This morning the scale showed the results. I was down 3 lbs from last week. I hit the 40 lb loss mark!!!! Yay me!
