It's August which means that it's Concept 2's "Dog Days of Summer" challenge. Row 10K metres (not necessarily all at once) this week, 20K next week, 30K the week after and 40K the last week for a total of 100K metres. VO2 max
I know that V02 max isn't the be all and end all measure of fitness but I'm pretty pleased with the it for my age (64), not sure how meaningful Garmin's "fitness age" is but I'll take it as a good thing....

Virtual Tri/Du
Anyone doing virtual races to keep the motivation up. My club is running a virtual du & tri, with no pools open we have to get a little creative with the swim portion - I opted for rowing. I hope they put on an Olympic distance soon...

Well, at least in several decades. I've been pretty consistent with my bike training this winter as I figure it's the one thing I can improve on the most for the upcoming triathlon season. I just hope this translates into real world improvements once the snow is gone.....
