I haven't been on mfp for a year yet but I do have something awesome to share. Then versus now. I've lost 71 pounds in the last year. 45 from March till now. I haven't lost anything since October. Been gaining and losing the same 10 pounds but that's about to be over. Roughly 8 pounds away from my goal!

Mid-week check in!
How is everyone doing so far? I'm doing pretty good. The water challenge is easy for me. Tonight though, we are taking my small group girls at church to get frozen yogurt. I'm still contemplating on eating some. I might just get a bowl and fill it with fruit!

Body Fat %
I don't have a proper way to measure my body fat % to know it 100%. I know all tools outside of the bodpod and the water method are estimations. I'm okay with that. Went to buy a bridesmaid dress today for a wedding in October. My wedding dress is a size 8 and the last time I tried it on, about two months ago, it fit perfectly. Well, now I am happy to say I wear a size SIX! It's awesome considering my wedding dress hadn't fit since the wedding basically!

My ultimate NSV
When I started this, I couldn't even run for a solid minute. Today, I RAN A MILE!!!! A 12 minute mile! This is the best thing that's happened. It's even more awesome than dropping pant sizes!

Shoulders
Ive noticed when I do certain exercises, my shoulders pop out of joint. Is this because my shoulder muscles are weak? I just started lifting a few weeks ago so I know it will be some time before they are strong.

Ugh
I had a horrible weekend. My dad brought me Greek desserts and they are NOT paleo at all... I ate them anyways. But then I had major food regret and I walked 5 miles. Hahaha. It wouldn't have been so bad if I had just had the baklava. But no, I had to eat the powdered sugar wedding cookie among others.

I am still here! I started my 30 day challenge on Monday! I have to say, it's going really well and I can already tell my palate is changing. I am having protein shakes though but I figure 90/10 still works! I'm making paleo banana ice cream tomorrow! I can't wait to eat it.

Is anyone here on the paleo diet?? I am so interested in it but I am such a picky eater to begin with. It is going to be a long process to train my body to like the foods that are good for you. How sad is that? Any tips or advice?
