As my friends on here know, my loss is at a snail's pace. I took a pic of myself in my goal jeans a couple of weeks ago. I've barely lost anything, but can you tell ANY difference? If not, you won't hurt my feelings! Gray tank top is the newest one.

Did the Body Media help you lose weight?
Hi gang! We had a Groupon here in D.C. and I was able to get a Body Media band and 3 months subscription for 95 bucks. Has anyone here used it and gotten good results? Did it help you fine tune your deficit? I'm interested in seeing how much I'm burning a day. Thanks for any info!

Got the metabolic testing results. EVERYTHING is different.
So I finally coughed up some money and got some metabolic testing done. After months of busting my *kitten* and no results I needed answers! My RMR is a little above 1600. Feeling silly. I've been overeating!
Lightbulb moment. I was so fixated on my exercise calories...but I'm thinking for some...seem like for me...TDEE with a deficit is where the weight loss it. protein powder and coffee?
I just got some chocolate protein powder and a little single serve blender. I don't want to add milk, and I know water will be bland with it. Has anyone blended it with coffee? Does it mix? Taste good?

Has anyone had metabolic testing done?
I did mine this morning and get my results on Monday. I had the oxygen mask on and they did my rest test (laying in recliner and just breathing in the tube) and then got on a bike and was gradually tested on different levels/watts with the mask on. I looked so silly. LOL! i'm hoping to get an accurate TDDE and BMR number…

Do you subtract calories from your burn?
I've had a few people tell me they subtract what they would be burning anyway out of their workout burn. For example. I burn 600 calories in a spin class. They would put down 500. Anyone? Anyone? Shed some light! :happy:

drinking way too much water?
I was just curious. I have my 32 ounce water jug that I carry everywhere. I am a chugger....so I'd say many days I drink at least 5 of these...which is around 160 ounces of water. Is that way too much? Could that show up as weight on the scale? Thanks!
