Finally seeing progress...now leaving for two week trip. :-/

This never fails to happen. I've been doing the "Olivia method" and it has been working! I'm eating a bit less than before and I can see a difference in the mirror and with my tape measure. Ya'll know what a struggle this has been for me! Cut to...tomorrow we leave for Alabama to visit hubby's family and then a week trip to New Orleans with JUST my husband. we are all foodies...but inlaws are both very overweight and are food obsessed. Father in law (who may be having mini-strokes due to his lack of diet control with his diabetes) called to create a list of ALL the restaurants we are going to while in town. It's all surrounding food. And New Orleans? It's all about the cuisine. Foodie hubby has us booked at a nice restaurant every night. Most of this will be impossible to track calorically and I'll be away from my gym routine. I just need some advice/encouragement. I hate that I'm finally seeing a change and now even if I chose "wisely" and only eat half etc, I'm still going to be eating many more calories than usual because it's all restaurant food and less time at the gym. It's just frustrating! Thanks for the vent!
