CrossFit Open
Any CrossFit peeps here? I'm excited for 17.1 I am recently recovered from a slipped disc and I've decided to do the Open scaled. It's kind of killing me but in the long run, I rather not re-injure my back. What are your plans for the Open?

Keto Newbie
I just started the Keto diet yesterday. I've purchased two books (The complete Keto guide for beginners and a quick and easy Keto cookbook). I'm looking for other online resources, tips and tricks. I've had a hard time getting my fat in for the day while keeping my protein down. Any tips for that? Any help is appreciated!

On average how many pounds a week do you lose on the Keto diet? I'm 3 days in and down a bunch of water weight but I was wondering when the real weight loss kicks in. When will it even out? Starting 21 Day Fix (portion control) plus Crossfit tomorrow!
Is there anyone out there like me? My eating has gotten out of control lately and I'm no longer loosing. I'm going to try a round of the 21 day fix to get my portions back in check. Anyone else doing something similar?

Hi There!
I just joined this group. I'm starting back at MFP after not logging my calories for almost a year now. I used to be an avid runner but ran out of steam this past fall. Shortly after that I started doing Crossfit. I love it! I did my first free standing handstand tonight! I just wanted to introduce myself. Huzzah!

Pre and Post work out meals
I've been doing cross fit 4 x's a week for about 3 months now and I was wondering what you eat for pre and post work out meals? I normally feel fine before my workouts and during but I am famished after. I want to get my nutrition in check to avoid cravings. Thanks!!!

Logging Crossfit
I know that a HRM is the obvious choice when logging calories but for those of us that do not have a HRM, what do you log your Crossfit as? I've been logging it as aerobics/high impact. Any input is appreciated.

Greek Yogurt
I love greek yogurt as a snack. I usually eat plain, with fruit on top. Recently, I'm getting a bit sick of just berries and yogurt. Any other good and healthy "add ins" I tend to stay away from yogurts with fruit already in them because of the unnecessary sugars. :)

Hi. I'm new to this site. I thought counting calories would help me keep everything in check and from going into hibernation during the winter. Hopefully it works! Other than that -- I run, practice yoga, swim, and lift weights a few times a week. In the warmer months I love to commute by bike around town. Cheers!

P90 v. Insanity
I've done P90X before and I really did not like it because of all the weight lifting and chin ups. A friend told me that she liked insanity better because it uses your body more than P90 does.
