clean eating recipes?
Anybody out there follow the clean eating way of life and have some good recipes? I made the turkey roll up dinner that's on the clean eating website for my family last night and they actually liked it!! It has spinach and everything!! afternoon crash
Does anyone else get an energy crash in the afternoon? What do you do about it? I'm really careful to eat nutritious, whole foods every 3 hours or so. From about 3:00 until dinnertime, I'm exhausted. After dinner, I'm ok which tells me it's about food or blood sugar or something. Any suggestions?

crunchy AND low-carb?
I need to shake up my routine a little and although I only eat whole grains and fruit that are high-carb, I want to reduce my carbs for a little jump start. My problem - I NEED crunchy. I do eat almonds. Any other ideas???

Does anyone use measurements to calculate body fat? I use this one: http://www.bmi-calculator.net/body-fat-calculator/ and keep track of the number in my "check-in" numbers. Kind of just for the heck of it because I don't know how accurate it is.

BMR question
OK - so my BMR is 1,247 calories a day and I have a desk job (although 2 kids I run around with). My goal is to have a 500 calorie deficit every day. I get how to calculate excersise calories, but how do you know how many daily activiy calories to add onto your BMR?

Giving hope
I just wanted to give encouragement to all those out there who don't see results right away. I went for weeks without even one pound lost and now suddenly, I'm down 4 pounds in 2 weeks. I think my body just needed a few weeks to adjust to everything. Don't give up!!!

baby tummy hope?
Ok - I've cut out refined/process foods, I'm doing my cardio everyday, and strengthening my core. Can anyone out there give me hope that my post-baby tummy will (at the very least) get smaller?
