Alternative - stage 2
We have some weights etc at home. Bench, barbell, rack, ball. If I decide to do this at home I will get dumbbells. I am going to be starting stage 2 in a few weeks. What alternatives can I use for cabel horizontal chop and underhand grip lat pulldown? Thanks

Dumbbell shoulder press - stage 1
I upped my weight today - I went for 10lb to 15lb. I could only manage 9 lifts instead of 12. I am going to try again with the same weight next time, hopefully I will be able to do more. I really am a weak girlie!!!!!!

Stage 1 - step up help
Stage 1 - Step ups What do you use for your step? I don't think I used a high enough step. First time I used the stepper, Today i was going to use a bench, but was scared I would fall, so I used the second step on the stairs.

No Swiss exercise ball
First day at new gym today, looked for all the equipment I will need to start stage 1 on Monday. They do not have exercise balls. I was thinking of getting a ball and doing those exercises when I get home from the gym, or are there any variations I could do?

Christmas is not just one day - for me

A small NSV, but it made me smile
I went home to England at Christmas and bought myself a couple of pairs of jeans. I got them a bit too small as I am determined to loose some more weight. Tonight one of them fits me. Yippee for me. Still a long way to go, but I'm getting there, slowly but surely.

Lunch ideas
I am getting bored witht he same old menu. Boredom tome means danger as I fall off the healthy eating wagon!!! Lately I have had salad most days. I swapped greens for broccoli slaw, add tuna, veggies and a little feta cheese. Its good, but now I need some new ideas please. I like to try and keep my lunch under 300 calories.

I started C25K recently. I just completed week 3 day 1. My question, what speed do you walk and run? I am walking between 3 and 3.5 mph and running between 5 and 6 mph.

22 weeks, 22 lbs?
I have 22 weeks until I go home for a visit. 22 weeks, can I loose at least 22lbs? That should hopefully take me to a UK size 12. what are you doing with your fat clothes? I was thinking of moving them to the closet in the spare room. Keeping them just incase. But is this a bad idea? I don't want to go back to that size. I think I have answered my own question. I am going to donate them. I WILL not need them again.

It only took 12lbs.
I have 2 pairs of knee high boots. I can only wear them under jeans because I can't do the up all the way. Well, that was before loosing 12lbs. Hello size 14, its nice to see you again!!!
My first small success.... Today I am offically a size 14 again. I have jeans and trousers, bith size 14. They fit. Not breath in and squeeze them on, but really fit. No muffin top, not red marks on my belly when I take them off. Today I am a happy girl. 2 more sizes to go to my target.

Not used all my calories
i have 630 calories left today. 440 were exercise calories. I cannot eat all these. My question...... If I don't use them all today can I save them for Thursday when I go out for cocktails?
