Thing is, over the years I have been reducing my calorie total and increasing my exercise, currently doing 5.5 miles on weekdays plus an hour of circuit training every…

Hello there, Bit of a veteran lurker here (3 years). I'm stuck. I workout about 6 times a week, weights twice, running twice, circuits/power Pilates/trx once and normal Pilates once. PCOS and calorie counting
Hey, i am going to the doctor tomorrow because I have all the symptoms of PCOS, and I was wondering if there were any sufferers on MFP? If so, as one of the symptoms is a difficulty losing/gaining weight, would my calorie goals be lower than a normal person of my category (sex/height/weight etc)? I know it is different for…

Sinus trouble makes it hard to exercise!
Hey! I usually hit the gym after work and at the weekends (cardio and weights) about 6 times a week. I feel that I've been doing really well in sticking with it. But last weekend I had a blocked ear, went to the doctor who misdiagnosed it as blood clots, I fainted and no one caught me so I fell right against a hard floor…

Do you have a rest day?
I am curious about this. Does anyone make sure to rest at least once a week? If so, what does that entail? No exercise at all? Or just going for a walk instead of a run etc. I usually walk for about an hour and a hald at 4.5mph with arm weights (on treadmill). Should I skip this entirely and skip any kind of exercise (not…

Sore calves after half marathon
Hey guys, I have upped my running recently, from two days of 8 miles and one day of 10 miles to two days of 10 miles and one day of 13.1 or 15 miles. My toenails went black so I got new bigger sized shoes (went to a proper running store and got them fitted). Only problem is, now I get pretty painful calves every run. I…

I dont know how much to eat and fitbit isn't helping!

I got it because I thought I was calculating my activity wrong. I…

I'm 160lbs and 5ft9, I'm 20 years old (BMI 23.6). I was aiming to lose 1 pound a week, but is that maybe too much for the home stretch, should I maybe be going for half a pound a week so that when I go on maintenence it's not too much of a bodyshock? Also, I've hit a Biiiiig plateau (like the one in the lost world kind of…
