NEW to EMTWL...Questions
Hi Guys, I have decided to try the EMTWL method to try to shed unwanted fat. Below is my history and would love for your feedback on how to do this properly. Getting back...need HELP!
Hi Guys, I've missed MFP for about a year where I tried doing a different way of eating which didn't work and I ended up gaining about 20lbs. I tried the whole wheat/grain/sugar free and low carb and I found that I just kept yoyoing and it did nothing for me except gain a whole lot of unwanted fat....one thing I did right…

Zumba and Carpet
Is doing Zumba on carpet bad for your knees, I heard this somewhere. Also do you need specific dancing shoes to do Zumba, I just use my Nike Air max...but I notice my knee hurts more when I do it on the carpet rather than the cement floor in my basement.

Upper body workouts with knee pain,
I have knee pain and can’t do any intense full body workout; even low impact seems to cause the pain. I’m seeing a physio therapist who is helping me to do squat strengthening exercises. I would like to do just upper workouts for now until my knees get stronger. My question is, I know that you can’t spot reduce the weight…

Knee Pain, told not to exercise
My knee pain was getting out of hand, so I did an x-ray and the doctor said I had arthritis(blame my mother) on my left knee and fluid on my right knee. He told me to see a physiotherapist and just limit exercise to low impact cardio. So when I went to the physiotherapist for my knee he told me I can't exercise for a while…

This is regarding TOM. No matter what I do, I always gain around 4-6lbs the week of it, then I spend the week after getting rid of that 4-6lbs. Then I lose maybe 2-3lbs the next two weeks, then it starts all over again. This is the same cycle every month, I am not sure how to to prevent this or if it is inevitable, does it…
