Motivation
I figured that since we were all newbies, that we would need a thread to help us along the way. On the days that you aren't "feeling it" come by and let us help get you back on track. Nothing worth having comes easy. Try and always remember that time will pass regardless of what you decide to do with it.

Finished!
So today was my last day of 30 Day Shred. It actually took my 37 days, but I digress. I am ecstatic that I completed the whole thing without giving up. I feel so much better about myself and my body. Anyone else completed it yet?

Any changes yet?

For those who have completed 30DS, how long did it take for you to notice a change in your weight or measurments? I am on day four of level one and am already seeing a decrease on the scale and tape measure. Is that normal?

Before and during...PICS (34lbs down)
So I started my weight loss journey (on March 1, 2011) at *sigh* 220lbs (oh, and I'm 5'5). I got this coat from Old Navy in October when I was probably somewhere around 215lbs. I am now down to 185.6lbs and decided to see if there was a difference in how the coat fit. I see a slight difference, what do you guys think?

TOM question...
So I've been on bc for the longest. I just recently got off (due to starting something new) and I got my monthly. It's now starting to go away, but I've noticed that my weight has stayed the same the whole time it was here. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, did your weight loss just pick up after that TOM was over?

For those who count calories...
does that method really work? I'm doing Atkins and although I like it, I'm thinking about trying other weight loss methods so I can have more variety. If it does work, how is the weight loss when coupled with cardio and strength training? As of now, I'm losing about 10lbs a month.

How quick did you notice results when you started toning and
I just found some exercises to try to help tone and strengthen my core and am wondering when others started to notice a change in themselves after they started. I plan on taking pics as I go along, like every 2 weeks or so, but I'm thinking that it may be too often.
