have you been able to achieve a nice looking belly after losing weight? I am wondering because I have 3 children and while I don't have many stretch marks, I am terrified about having that ugly pouch once I drop the rest of this weight. Anyone have any success stories without having to get surgery? If so, what did you do to help achieve it (if anything).

I'm not there yet! bump!0

It all depends on the person. After losing the weight the tummy is flat..but once you get into a position that the skin can hang..well..it hangs. Again..depends on your skin elasticity also. Mine is shot...so surgery would be the only answer.0

Not there yet either but be sure to check yourself for abdominal separation which can cause the pooch to not go away. Here's a link about it. Turns out I have a three finger spread myself which is borderline severe. I also had three kids. http://mutusystem.com/diastasis-recti-exercises-what-works.html0

Lots of cardio and a good diet should help. I'm not where I want to be YET, and I've screwed up so much lately that I probably have taken a few steps back. But you can see some of my progress in my profile pics.0

I've seen a few ladies up here that have achieve that success, but that all depends on your body and how it reacts to the exercise and whether if you have any elasticity left.
I'm losing the muffin top but I don't know if my pouch is going to go completely away but I'm actively working towards it. I'm strength training and doing cardio and its shrinking.
I believe the other ladies were doing the P90X.
And I've heard some say a really clean diet is good as well.0 -

I have three boys so this is a worry I have considered but in the end, honestly. If I am healthy and able to enjoy my grandchildren one day (My boys are 15-21) then that is all that matters.
Ideally I would give a toe to have a bikini body since I haven't had that since 13!0 -

Good question!! I have 3 boys and I don't think my tummy will ever be the same. Mine looks pretty good while laying flat, but I stand up and it all starts sagging.....esp the bottom pooch. I don't know why but I can always seem to get rid of that top belly flab but the bottom, I don't think there is any hope for me.0 -

Girlfriend, if that is your profile pic your stomach looks GREAT!!!, even if you are just laying down, it looks rock hard!0 -
I had 2 babies within 22 months and gained and lost 50 pounds with both. While my tummy isn't PERFECT, it is flat and I have a visible 4 pack. Anything can be done through diet and exercise, just takes time and energy!0

Thank you! I wish it was rock hard; it's far from it. I'm working on it though! :bigsmile:0 -
My tummy looked great after my first child! It took me about a year to lose the weight (plus 10 lbs) and I worked out a lot. I havne't gotten there yet since my second child was born, but I have faith that I will get there with hard work. I'm not in a rush, since I'm done having babies, I have the rest of my life to make my body what I want it to be.0
