TDEE vs MFP
Questions for the masses -- first the background info -- I have seen several posts on TDEE and so I looked it up and it recommends 2400 - 20% for me which is about 400 calories higher than what I have from my settings on MFP using similar input. So, the questions are - what do you use, have you done both and which was…

Do you know where your food comes from?
So a while ago I watched Food, INC and I just wanted to send out a topic concerning to eat organic or not! I found the whole food production to be a bit overwhelming and frankly scary for me and I have really looked at what I am eating and what I am supporting by purchasing non-organics. At any rate, curious if anyone else…

I have to lose the weight in 2 months but, I know it can't be too quicky but it has to go. The good part -- I have been running a lot and…

Okay, so we all tend to bash ourselves the minute we slip and make a mistake so today I wanted to start a thread for everyone to post ONE (or as many as you want) Positive thing about yourself regardless if you gained a pound, ate over your calories, or didn't exercise. Let's banish negative thinking!! My positive…

Why do people....
not want to exercise :noway: ? I don't understand this -- have seen several posts now and was just curious the thoughts behind not wanting a healthy body all around. Exercise is a stress reducer, libido increaser, self-confidence building, heart-ticker extender, energy supplier and better resting enabler. So -- what gives?

Oh Bob's sweet mints
Bob betrayed me today- I snacked on a few of those wonderfully sweet, soft, and innocent mints. Then I had a few more of those scrumptious treats - love the way they dissolve in my mouth - so satisfying, so yummy. I know they don't come without calories but, I've never looked it up.. just had a couple occasionally so -…

Willpower Mantra
When I want to quit I have any one of the random thoughts below to pull me out of my funk: my family, living life strong and healthy, guiding my children to their well-being, being an example, mind over matter, God put me here to do something, strength comes from within first, I'm just as good as (fill in that person on…

My first venting...
Okay, so I don't usually post new threads but I am hopeful someone can hear me vent and say, okay -- you can get through this. My ex has decided to move my two girls (long story - he is the custodial parent, I was stationed on a remote tour when he filed/etc) to the opposite side of the US of A while I am deployed - go…

Okay.. so has anyone had this happen??
I have had this issue for a while and then I thought.. let me see if anyone else had this happen.
