Doing everything right but gaining weight?!
I’ve been working out 6 days a week and eating healthy, yet I am gaining weight. I recently quit smoking (7 weeks ago). I don’t know if it’s my metabolism adjusting or what. Has anyone experienced this or have any recommendations on reversing this cycle? It doesn’t make sense to me and it’s becoming defeating.

Fruits vs. Protein?
*NOTE: I do not plan on doing this longer than 10-14 days! This is not a long term thing I am asking* Which is better to see results quicker - fruits/veggies/smoothie diet or pure protein? I will do this for about 2 weeks. I would like to know which would be more effective in reducing the extra water weight, bloating, etc.

Consolidation Phase
I'm about to enter the consolidation phase and cannot decide between doing PP/PV on a 5/5 rhythm or a 1/1. In the book, Dukan recommends the 5/5 but said 1/1 seems to be easier for people to stick to. Anyone know any comparisons between the two?
