I'm 5'10" and weigh 170lbs. How much weight can i lose in two months? I started working out everyday for 45 minutes on the elliptical and eating healthy.

  • The answer to this one really shouldn't be how much you could lose, but how much you should lose in order to do it in a healthy way. You're really only supposed to lose 2lbs maximum each week. When you lose weight healthily, it is easier to keep off in the long run. That, at least, is my input on the matter. Good luck!

You can't really predict ( unfortunately ) I usually lose 4-5lbs the first week and then it goes to sometimes 2-3 a week or just 1. You should be able to at least lose 1lb a week. Watch your sodium levels and calorie intake. So.. my "out there" guess is 8-12lbs.

Its really different for everyone. Just continue doing what you are doing and you'll be seeing results : )

Well, 5'10" is pretty tall, so 170 pounds isn't really super heavy. I'm 5'6", so I was overweight at 170 and easily lost two pounds a week.

Since you're closer to a healthy weight, you might find you only lose a pound a week, or so. Really, it's hard to venutre a guess without knowing your activity level, how many calories you're burning during a workout, how many calories you're eating in a day... etc. Generally speaking, though, the closer you are to a healthy weight, the harder it is to lose.
