I need a confirmation that I'm not crazy
I bought a stationary bike 2 weeks ago and I started riding it almost everyday for roughly 4miles (I'm a beginner). The night before last I gained a pound over night. Last night, another pound. Which puts me at 210lbs. I never weighted that much before. I always weight myself naked, with empty stomach and empty bladder as…

Fitbit zip changing my weight on MFP?
I linked my new fitbit zip to my MFP account last night. I didn't use it though. Around the same time I saw in my feed that I had lost 1.2lbs? I never logged a weight drop. Is fitbit doing this? How can I prevent it?

Exercise headache
So, I'm an obese 5'3 195lbs woman. Asthmatic and ridiculously out of shape. The elevator was taking to long so my super fit friend and I took the stairs...to reach the 10th floor. When I reached the top I was out of breath and drenched. Now I'm back sitting at my computer with a big headache and exertion and had to use my…

How am i supposed to eat 1500 calories a day??
I was eating to little and not losing. So I did all the calculation BMR and TDEE and upped my calories to 1500. How the hell am I supposed to eat that much calories with healthy food? I mean i can cap 1500 with junk food but by making healthy choices I really doubt i'll be able to eat that much. I can't eat below my 1500…

BMR cals goal vs MFP cals goal
Hi there, I have a question. I've read the road map 2.0 and everything I could find but I'm still confused. A friend that's been here a long time now told me to never eat below my BMR which is 1580 calories per day. I tried that for a while but never lost a single pound. I went back to the MFP method and set my goal to…

About my activity level
I'm still a noob here even though I've been on MFP for more than a year. I'm not sure my activity level is properly set. If I walk 1.4 miles a day because I go to work by walking does it count as daily exercise or it doesn't because I do it 5 days a week and I should put my activity level to lightly active?

Being out of shape and bruising
Is it possible to be so out of shape than the body part you work out bruises? I did pilates 2 days ago I my right inner thigh was really sore and it got worst the 2nd day after the work out and there's is a bruise there. It has to be from the workout I don't see how I could knock myself in the inner thigh that high.

The right amount of calories intake
I've read tons of post on MFP about how to determine your calories intake but i'm still confused. Do I: Let MFP set my calories Eat the same amount as my BMR Eat my TDEE minus 20% ?

Hi, I've always ingested HUGE amount of non-natural sugars. I'm trying to control my sugar intake but since I dropped ice cream and daily coca cola etc I feel sooooo tired. Could it be related or is it just coincidence?

Loss of appetite brought weight gain
I've been suffering from a big Sinusitis since almost 2 weeks. I haven't been able to exercise because of great fatigue. But I also suffered from a big loss of appetite. I still managed to get at least 3 small meals a day. I was really suprised when I stepped on the scale to see that I actually gained 2 pounds. I usually…

Is it normal that I'm almost never sore?
I don't do big hardcore trainings. I started with the elliptical and was only sore once. I switched to home fitness DVDs from Leslie Sansone. I'm exhausted and drenched but i never get sore except on the spot while I exercise. does not being sore means that my workout isn't hard enough so that i lose weight?

Is it supposed to be this hard?
I've been sendentary all my life. And I began training monday. My trainer says I should do 30 mins of cardio twice a week, for now. That I should burn 300-400 cals in 30mins. But I can't make it! It's too hard for me, at this time. I only made it to 276 cals and I'm at work (gym at workplace) and I don't know if i'll have…

Is it damaging to work out after supper?
Hi, I know that it's best to work out in the morning before you start your day but if I *really* don't have the time and come home late is it damaging to do my work out dvd around 8 PM? My damaging I mean something like giving me sleep problems, or digestive issues something along those lines.

Do you count daily walking
When calculating your exercise calorie burn for the day, should I count the walk from home to work that I do everyday or is it already calculated in my daily calorie burn for a normal person?

Can you lose some weight by walking?
Hi, I'm 27 and had a child almost 10 months ago. I'm also asthmatic and really not in shape. I'm struggling to lose the baby weight as I am very sedentary. I was wondering if I could lose some weight just by walking everyday or buy doing workout dvd like "Walk away the pounds with Leslie Sansone". At least for a little…

It's all my fault
During my pregnancy I've gained 50 pounds. Every new mom around me lost their weight without lifting a finger and I gained 15 more pounds. I went to my doc telling her that I wasn't able to lose weight. The truth is, I never watched what I ate and I didn't exercised. Sure, I tried a workout dvd a couple of time but that…

Not sure how to use my watch to count cals.
I have this cheap watch, I didn't want put too much money in this because I tend to quit exercise often. The more healthy I am, to more I weight
I abandoned MFP for a couple of weeks. I was eating crap. Whatever I wanted whenever I wanted. My weight was stuck a 165lbs. Now, I'm exercising and trying to eat well....and I've gained 5 lbs. What happened?
