Loss of appetite brought weight gain

I've been suffering from a big Sinusitis since almost 2 weeks. I haven't been able to exercise because of great fatigue. But I also suffered from a big loss of appetite. I still managed to get at least 3 small meals a day.

I was really suprised when I stepped on the scale to see that I actually gained 2 pounds. I usually eat well over my caloric needs. Used to eat junk food and crap. During those two weeks I ate mostly soup, wraps and fruits. I drank a lot of water too instead of drinking Coca Cola like I usually do.

If I ate better, in small portions, why did i not lose any weight? Worst, I gained weight!

I eat crap everyday and around 2000 calories, no exercise and keep my weight steady. I eat less and better, but no exercise since i'm sick, and I put on weight.

What happened?
