Anyone elses button break on the charge
I bought my charge a few weeks ago (2-3) and the button that you press to get the display has broken. Has anyone else had this issue? If so what did you do? As know I cant see any of my stats unless I sync with the app and then I don't know if the app is correct cos I cant see it on my charge.

dominant vs non dominant hand which one should i use
I have recently upgraded from a zip to a fitbit charge. I wear my charge on my left hand and I am right handed. I thought because of this I should set it at non dominant. I have tested lifting my hand and bending it and things like that and it did not increase my steps. Reading a answer to a question on the fitbit website…

Is there a way to fix adjustment issues
Myfitnesspal is set on sedentary and I eat back whatever the fitbit adjustment amount is. The only time I have received a negative adjustment is when I left my fitbit at home for some of the day so I only totalled about 3000 steps for the day. Today I did 6050 steps and received a adjustment of -28. This just seems wrong…

Tiredness - is it normal part of detox
Is it normal to feel tired more then usual in your first week. Yesterday I had a nap(which I never do) and then had to go to bed early as well. It's funny I feel like I have more energy to do things but at the same time feel like I need to sleep all the time. Is this part of the detox process?

Need clarification - confused
I have been researching the paleo diet for a while (online - websites, forums etc) and have understood it to mean that you cut out dairy and grains and that it advocates fat, nuts, protein and fruits and veggies. I just got a copy of Loren Cordains book from the library and have started reading it and looking at his…

fitbit zip doesnt seem to be picking up steps
Do you have to wear something specific for the zip to pick up your steps. I just noticed that it was not picking up my steps when I was walking. Normally I wear jeans or pants which I have never noticed it not working but now I was wearing tracksuit pants (which are a bit lose around the waste) and it was not picking up my…

Calories question
If I put sedentary or lightly active in mfp I get 1200 calories a day. I then have a fitbit which I get an adjustment for but since this adjustment is based on what fitbit predicts I will burn in a day if I have been active during the day and then not so active at night (which is normal for me) my adjustment in mfp can be…

Question about fitbit
I just got my fitbit a few days ago and just wanted to ask in my goals in fitbit should I put it at 500 calorie deficit when I have already created a 500 calorie deficit with my fitness pal. Am I therefore creating a 1000 calorie deficit or or am I supposed to set them both at 500 to create a 500 deficit.

What's considered moderate exercise
Am trying to work out my tdee and was just wondering what classifies as moderate exercise. I attend the gym 4-5 times a week and usually do body pump, Zumba, boot camp and maybe a yoga session. Would these be considered moderate?

Tdee - exercise question
I am thinking of changing to the tdee method minus 10/15 percent as I only have 3 kilos to lose. Just wanted to ask when you input how much exercise you are doing how much does it estimate you are burning per session. I normally work out 5 days a week but 3 days I'll do lots of cardio for 1-2 hours and on the other days…

Is it okay if I just eat at maintenance for my goal weight
I am currently 64 kilos and would like to get down to 60 but I'm happy being between 60-65 so I'm no rush to get down to 60. When putting losing weight in my fitness pal it keeps coming up with 1200 calories and I don't want to eat that low as it's under my bmr and I already have metabolism issues so don't want to cause…

Hi newbie here
I am trying gluten free because of a lot of issues I have been having lately. I have been having a lot of digestive problems ( constipation, diarohea, heartburn, stomach cramping, back pain) as well as being tired all the time. I have cut gluten out in the past and felt 100% better and I'm hoping by cutting it out again I…

Since my youngest daughter was born I have been having cycles of constipation and diarrhea. Three weeks ago ended up in ER due to pains in my back and chest which they put down to digestive distress and gave me some tablets. Since then a lot of the time when I eat I get stabbing pains in my stomach and constant diarrohea.…
