Exercising with Achilles Tendonitis - Help!
I've had pain up the back on my heel on and off for a couple of weeks. For the last week I did mostly low impact strength exercises and it started to feel better, so yesterday I did cardio. Was painful as the day went on, woke up this morning and could hardly walk. Managed to get a doctors appointment this morning and he…

What is your weight loss the equal to?
Found this list, think it's a great way to visualise how much you have lost. Especially when people say they have 'only' lost a pound - that's a guinea pig! LOL. I've lost the chemical additives an American consumes each year (odd!). 1 pound = a Guinea Pig 1.5 pounds = a dozen Krispy Kreme glazed donuts 2 pounds = a rack…

Obsessed with food 24/7
I have been on 'diets' on and off for about 20 years now (I'm currently 34). I was put on a diet by the school nurse at 13 because I was overweight and my obsession with food has continued from then. I have lost over 100lb and regained most of it. I am now slowly on my way back to a healthy weight and this time I am not…

I've just upped my calories according to what fat2fitradio.com recommends. I've got 2400 cals a day based on exercising 3-5 workouts a week. I would love some more friends who eat over 2000 cals a day for support and so we can help each other. I was eating 1900 a day and re-eating my exercise calories before, but I found I…

Stopping soda drinking - is sparkling water ok?
I have decided to stop the soda drinking (I've been drinking coke zero, cherry Pepsi max and fanta zero) but I get bored of 'plain' water and I'm not keen on squash. Is sparkling water ok? My concern with the diet sodas is the research that says the sweetners make your body think its getting sugar etc when it's not. Hope…

Heavy weekend - still lost
I have been eating over my BMR for 4 weeks now and have had good losses. This weekend we went away and I ate out the whole time and didn't track. We had TGI Fridays (including a shared cheesecake!), fish & chips and Indian takeaway. Usually the weigh in following a weekend like that would show a 2lb gain on the scales.…

Can I Eat back my exercise cals?
I understand that you should include exercise to get your tdee cut number BUT I find that I am more inclined to exercise if I 'earn' calories from doing it. What was the last thing you ate?
Thought this might be a fun topic. What was the last thing you ate, when and how was it? Also, what were the cals, if you know? I just finished a sandwich made from Warburtons Thins filled with a Premier Deli chicken slice, little gem lettuce and a smearing of Hellmans extra light. It was nice and filled a hole. I'm at…

I have 30DS and Ripped in 30 as well as a couple of Jillian's other DVD's. Can anyone recommend me any other DVD's that work in a similar way, preferably no more than about 45 mins all in as I don't have a lot of time on work days. Or any fitness DVD that had a similar burn to Jillian's. I have a couple of Davina McCall's…

Help with chicken calories please!
Hi all I am planning to make some chinese chicken legs or drumsticks this week. The chicken I buy will come with the skin on, but I am going to take the skin off before marinading & cooking. Usually I use skinless chicken breasts to cook with, but I think this will be better with chicken on the bone. The cals for the…

Anyone not doing 10 days for each level?
I'm going to do 15-15-15 I think. I'm still on level 1 at the moment and it's still pretty tough for me. I CANNOT do push ups, no matter how hard I try, only the modified ones, so I'm a little concerned about all the planks I keep reading about

Favourite/most hated exercise on 30DS level 1
What is your favourite and least favourite exercise on 30ds level 1 (not including warm up or cool down)? I HATE jumping jacks. They kill me.
