Weekly Post 18/01/15 -24/01/15
I'm enjoying my weekend in the mountains. When we arrived on Friday. ..no snow. ..but it snowed Friday night and all of Saturday, so 30-50 cm of powder! I have enjoyed too much wine and food as well as two nice snowshoe hikes. One more tomorrow and then off to home base and a fast on Tuesday. Have an awesome week!

Realised I have evening class on my Tuesday FDs ....
so if I wait until I get home to eat my dinner then it'll be virtually nothing until 10.30 p.m. and I may not be able to concentrate with a rumbly tummy. But if I eat before class, then I'll be eating at 6.00 and I'll be hungry again by the time I get home. Going to have to plan better.

Multi-vitamins on fast days
I try to eat healthy on fast days to get my nutrients but that doesn't always happen. I don't currently take any supplements, and I was wondering if any of you do, whether it's every day or just on fast days?

16/8 any advice?
I'm looking at 16/8 for predictability and a steady rate of fat loss for the last 15 pounds. Anyone have tips to share? 5:2 has been great for the past 20 months with about 40 pounds lost. Love the energy lift and how I feel. I will continue to restrict calories 2x a week for a deficit.

I live at the foot of a small forested hill, where I usually go running, biking, walking, horseback riding. In the last few days we've received 30-40cm of snow.... That's rare.... I'm pretty new to 5:2, actually enjoying it so far. Fast days are great and the day after I feel awesome! So, my Q. I was wondering if the 500 calories on a fast day was fixed or net - i.e. should I eat back exercise calories?? I tried searching for this and couldn't find an answer. Any info gratefully received.

Off to a good start
After about 18 months on 5:2, and getting down from 103 to 92 before getting stuck (stable for 12 months despite going to 4:3). Since starting to track on non-fast days I have started losing again and now down to 88.1. I've now switched back to 5:2 and decided to use MFP set at maintenance to keep on track. Wondering…
