@mainebeachbum: Nope! We actually went to STL. I'm not sure why Mardi Gras is so popular there because we're nowhere near Louisiana, but the city goes all out! I don't know if I could handle New Orleans Mardi Gras, haha!
-
That looks delicious!

I also travelled this weekend and we were celebrating Mardi Gras, so I didn't count anything. My weight was initially up after the weekend, but I'm down 2 pounds from when I weighed in on Friday morning. I need to lose 4 pounds by the end of the month to make my goal! Hope you're all dong well :)

Definitely not a silly question! Measure before cooking. As you said, when you cook food, the weight changes and depending on how you cook it/for how long the weight could be turn out differently. For example, chicken that is cooked longer will be more dry and have less water. I can't think of any food that would be…

I agree with Natalie :) There are days when I don't feel like working out, but I do it anyway because it's a habit and not doing it isn't an option anymore. Just start with a couple times a week and you'll get to the point where it's a habit :)

Eggs are my go-to because they're basically perfect, but when I'm in a hurry I grab turkey jerky.
-
Every now and again I'll eat baked chips, but they're almost too addicting for me to keep in the house, so I normally have Pretzel Crisps instead. I especially like the mini ones because I feel like I'm eating more because they're smaller. I also just bought these Lentil Snaps and they are amazing! I also bought some…

That's how much I started with! I've got 97 more to lose. I'm Carmen & I added you :)

This is the best thing ever. You're all amazing.

I'm Carmen and I started off with about 130 pounds to lose and now I have 97 to lose. I added you! :)

Extra lean ground turkey instead of ground beef Salsa instead of salad dressing Cauliflower rice instead of rice Those are all I can think of, but if I remember anything else I'll add it!
-
It is totally worth it! You can save a lot of calories by doing it and when I pair it with other things, I don't miss rice at all. It doesn't take me too much time. I use frozen cauliflower because it's cheaper and all of the cleaning and prep is done for you. People say you can't use frozen, but it's all I use to make it…

@lilasmall30 Thanks! I really don't do anything special. It's more about finding something that works for you and sticking with it. I lost the first 20 pounds just through diet alone. Just recently, I've started exercising more. On M/W/F, I do the 30 Day Shred and 20-30 minutes of cardio. I'm really busy on T/Th, so I just…

Hey :) I'm Carmen and I've got 97 pounds left to lose. I added you! Anyone else, feel free to add me!

I started out with about 130 to lose and now I've got 97 to go. I added you :) Also, my name's Carmen and if anyone else would like to add me, go for it :)

Let's say that food addiction is a real thing. That does not mean that all people who are overweight have an addiction to food. If a person truly has that addiction, Weight Watchers is most likely not gong to be enough assistance for that person. People need to lean to stop misplacing the blame and take responsibility for…

I really want to get a Spiralizer! Anyway, I make tacos a lot, so when I have leftovers, I like to make wonton tacos. I just put the grind turkey and a little bit of cheese in a wonton wrapper and bake them. When they're finished you can serve them with salsa. They're delicious! I also love making mini hot pockets using…

I've got 97 pounds to lose in total, but I'm aiming to lose 30 by May! I added you :) anyone else should feel free to add me, too!

I refuse to cut out any foods, because personally, I don't think it's a sustainable way of eating. Instead, I'm learning how to make better choices, fit foods into my life (instead of the other way around), and have self-control. For example, I use extra lean ground turkey or shredded chicken for tacos instead of ground…

Good luck, everyone!

I'm Carmen & I added you :)

I'll add you! :) I have about 100 lbs to go!

Hi! I'm Carmen and when I started losing weight a few months ago I was around 280. Then, when I came back a few weeks ago I was at your starting weight, 265 pounds. If you're short on time, you could try the 30 Day Shred. I started it today and it's only about 30 minutes, including the warm-up and cool-down. There are…

I love La Croix water. It's carbonated water and is sugar-free, sodium-free, and doesn't have any added artificial sweeteners. I've never been a soda drinker, but I can say that they definitely don't taste like soda, but still have all the fizz of soda.

I'm Carmen & I added you! :) I'm down almost 30 pounds and have about 100 to go.
-
My scale and I are in what I believe is termed "an unhealthy relationship," haha. I think I'm going to try this! As a daily weigher, I'm not sure if I can make it a whole month, but I certainly want to try!
-
Haha! & will do! Good luck with yours! If I get around to taking before and after pictures, I'll post them when I'm finished :)
-
Your English is fine :) I'm Carmen and I added you :)

We have similar starting weights and goal weights! I started around 280 pounds and am now at 256 pounds and would like to lose about another 100 pounds. I sent you a friend request! Anyone else, feel free to add me :)

I'm starting a squat challenge, too! I'm doing this one: 28-Day Squat Challenge
