  • Hello, How are you ladies measuring your body fat? Any preference over brands for devices?
  • I find that I snack when I’m watching movies. For the entire month of May, I’m not gonna watch anything and just read books instead. I can’t snack while holding a book 😂
  • Oh yeah, I belong here with the rest of you ladies! I wanna be your accountability buddy 😃 I have 15 pounds to lose to get to normal weight. I’ve put them during a pregnancy and now, 4 years later, I still didn’t lose it. I exercise a lot, I’m strong, but oh boy, I eat all the crap food! I re-joined MFP, so I can start…
  • I need to lose 15 pounds to have abs to show during a beach vacation in August. I used to have them, but then I had a baby and 4 years later I still didn’t shed the extra weight I’ve put on during pregnancy.
  • I use a fitness ball to sit on instead of a chair. It takes a few muscles to sit in an equilibrium and my butt hurts less, plus it's much better for my back. And should you wish you if nobody sees you you can bounce up and down on it. It gets your blood running and a good butt and thighs workout.
  • Ok, here is me: - 33 years old, 5'4 - 130 after pregnancy - 124 currently - 116 my goal, my pre-pregnancy weight I did martial arts for 11 years and stopped 5 years ago when I moved to Canada because I couldn't find a club I liked. I still practice on my own, but not as often. I am strong and pretty well proportioned if…
  • I always do a google search before logging in exercises and choose toward the lower end of the results. And that is because you have stuff like "jumping rope, vigorous". Well, what is vigorous for me might be slow for you, and I bet that if you and I were to jump rope vigorous we would consume different amounts of calories…
  • Ok, give me a heads up when your one month mark approaches so I can arm myself with a stick and lots of motivational speeches. I'll get you safe on the other side! Just kidding... But it would be fun to have some sort of punishment system in here to keep us straight. Right?
  • Hello and welcome. My goal is to lose the baby fat as well :) I've joined recently but already did amazing progress, and you will do too!
  • Good luck!

  • Hello and welcome. If you are not losing and you think you should (mostly since you exercise) it's because you are probably eating too much. Now that you are here, learn how to track your food, count calories for every single thing that you eat and drink and you should see results pretty fast. Good luck. You can do this!

  • Hello and welcome! You will find plenty of support and motivation here, you came to the right spot.
  • Hello and welcome. I don't have a problem with binge eating, but I am always up for offering encouragements as well as receive  Funny enough my goal is to lose 10 pounds as well. We can do this. I have already lost some. We just need to stay true to our goal and really fight those cravings. Feel free to add me to…
  • Welcome everyone. My babe is 8 months old and I also joined the community not long ago to get help losing the last 10 pounds (already down ~4 pounds). It's a bit tricky for us "new moms" to lose weight in the first year, but it's doable. With the breastfeeding and the stress and the lack of sleep it's hard to take off the…
  • 1200 calories is the lowest you should ever go given your stats. As MKEgal calculated for you, you should aim for 1430, and if you feel too full eating that much then you can lower slowly. However, based on how you are describing your problem, it sounds to me like you are not looking at your wight loss from a healthy…
  • It will... give it a few minutes.
  • None of the Strength training exercises have calorie consumptions because it's hard to calculate. But you can find the majority of the exercises hidden under Cardio and those do have the calorie consumption. If you chose Cardio and you go Browse All (from the phone app) you will see all the exercises there. You can find…
  • I am on 1240 cals and I am 5'4 Right now I weight 125 (started at 130 but already lost 5 pounds) and my goal is 117 (my pre-pregnancy weight).
  • I say to hell with their studies. We should take matters into our own hands and do our own MFP research  I bet this community will burn more calories that some lazy college students who volunteered to have sex for $20 as part of a study. Same as with any workout... Some people really work for it and others drag…
  • I don't have a heart monitor, but I'm hoping that those who have one would give it a serious test. We need to get some serious stats... At least 10 minutes and at vigorous effort  Any volunteers that can test this out?
  • Married for 7 years. We used to be hot... and then we had a baby. Now we are just sleep deprived  But the baby is sometimes hot with fever
  • push, pull
  • Dry humping used to be 90% of the fun when we got started in our sex lives :) Man... I miss those days... More dry-humping and less war!!! :D :D
  • Unlike yellow snow, you can it yellow grass should you wish. Fence, sheep
  • I think there is something evil in these last 10 pounds  I am fighting just like you, from 130 to 120 for a pretty long time and it's going nowhere. That's why I joined MFP. I don't think is what we eat (I've been keeping track of my food here and even blindly I have been doing good) and I don't think it's the…
  • I'm crossing the days in the calendar until I'm going to leave you and take your house  Sock(s), smoothy
  • You have to give two different words to the next poster :)
  • Congrats. As a new mom who had a baby 8 months ago I would say what you're trying to achieve is impossible. There are a lot of changes that will happen: increase in blood volume, amniotic fluid, the growing baby... All of these happen too fast for you to keep up with an equal weight loss, not to mention not healthy at all…
  • That's hilarious :))))))
  • Well, it should consume some good calories... It involves a lot of muscles and it always keeps my heart rate up. Anything that keeps your heart rate up can be considered cardio... Right? Anyyyway, I read somewhere that 30 minutes should burn about 150 ( equivalent of 15 min of running). And even more if you reach the big…
