I am so sorry. So here's a perspective that is probably not going to be loved by some and I am not at all okeying what he said, but here's my 2 cents anyways. My husband about 6 yrs ago began putting on weight. After a couple years it was over 100lbs. He was absolutely unhealthy, was not taking care of himself, and did not…

I have yet to read a study that supports your view on sugar, any chance u have the source? Just curious I enjoy info. And I get it with the being tired of calorie counting. For me it's the only thing that works and I've tried everything. Good luck!

I've put on 6lbs in one day! ( a terrible eating day but still) I weigh daily( good and bad) and often go with the lowest day that week to track progress

So i used to just eyeball my portions. It seriously shocked me how off i was on certain things. A serving (3.5 oz) of meat is tiny, in comparison to what i was used to. Same goes for oils and nut butters. Also after 6 months of lifting 5 days a week i put on 5lbs of muscle. Thats how long it can take to build. Sad but true…

Are you accurately measuring and weighing all your food? Thats number 1 for weight loss. New exercise can cause water retention, but generally passes after a couple weeks. Are you eating all your exercise calories back?

Mine is public, im trying to track more accurately! Sw:210 Cw:158 Gw: 145

Our thoughts become our reality. Now changing our thought pattern and how we see ourselves is so important for lasting change. Repeat a mantra in your head, read a self help book, listen to motivational speakers, anything to help push u. I gained and lost the same 20lbs for 4 yrs. It finally clicked. I am capable. I wish u…

5 weeks is not a long time. With only 11lbs to lose its going to be slow. You didn't put on the weight in a month, it won't be gone in a month. Be patient with yourself. Quick weight loss often doesn't last

Lifting is life lolol

Theres certain foods i dont buy or keep in the house . Milk chocolate is one. Chips is another. Losing weight is hard, lets not kid ourselves. Being overweight is also hard, but it's also easier to keep going as your going. You have decide your health is worth the effort. All the best.

5'4, started at 210 now 155! Its been 11 months. Got 10lbs till goal, then we will see how i feel! Congrats on your progress your doing amazing!

Heres my only warning, after babies you can have ab seperation, also known as diasastis recti. This can be made worse through ab exercises. ( it can also ive heard be helped with certain exercises, which i am unaware of) i had this and nothing besides surgery would help. This may not be the case for you, but felt important…

5'4-155lbs. Im sure u understand that each person will look different at that weight depending on body composition!
-
5'4, aiming for 145lbs

K, this might be tmi, but are bowel movements the same? If im plugged up, i can feel it after any kind of bigger meal.

I just started a 30 days of yoga with Adrienne! Shes really good and has tons of content. Its on YouTube and free. I did yoga yrs ago but just got back into it yesterday

Muscle takes a long time to build. Also with low carb u will lose a bunch of water weight the first week. Are u accurately tracking? As in weighing and measuring all your food?

I can't tell you how many fad diets Ive started on January first, only to quit 2-3 weeks in. Those diets that promise 10lbs in 2 weeks are so tempting, especially after the holiday binge. But of course theyre not sustainable.

I can't believe I wasted my time reading that! Lol i guess it beats the dusting im avoiding

I remember my first 2 weeks on an intense program i could hardly move! Then after that each week got a bit better. But pushing through those weeks and doing what you can, even if you have to modify, is creating a great foundation. Good luck u can do this!

I just wanted to say thank you for explaining why you disagree! I hired a trainer a year ago and this was part of the plan he set up for me, but understand it should not be the end all be all. Anyways your response has also been noted by me

I would personally not cut anymore. At 119 lbs your already underweight. I would consider a moderate bulk and switch focus to muscle building

Beginner weight varies so greatly. Its good to start a bit lighter at the beginning to work on form, but when u feel comfortable you should be doing going till failure. If u can easily hammer out 15 reps, you can up the weight. You want it to be a challenge! Im unsure of an alternative to leg press though, sorry!

Continuous improvement. Lifting a bit heavier, running a bit faster, realizing I can now do things I didn't think were possible when I started. It's what keeps me going when the scale isn't moving
-
Pushing yourself to go when you 'don't feel like it' is what will make all the difference long term. Way to go!

I had this, and did have it repaired through plastic surgery. Mine was quite severe, hopefully for you it can be helped through certain exercises, but definitely avoid direct ab work until you know for sure
-
Your probably eating too little then. Minimum for a man is 1500 cals, and most that would be too low

Enter all your info in myfitnesspal and it will give you your calories for the day, which will be a great starting point! For exercise do what you can. Can u take some tylenol before walking to lessen pain? I would start by walking the block. If u can , do it a couple times a day. If you want to try the gym, the eliptical…
