what is the green dot on the top right of each day?

Thank you all for the suggestions, very helpful!

It would be helpful to see an overall daily meal plan. Of course it will meet different nutritional needs for everyone, but it would give the big picture of a sustainable diet. I am well aware of plant-based meals but haven't been able to successfully put together a full day's worth of meals that meat my nutritional needs.

I'm a former points-counter myself and it's just not realistic in the real world. Calorie counting puts foods much more in perspective. Keep it up!

I think for most people it's the crunch craving. What worked for me was buying bran flakes cereal and eating that dry in 1/2 cup servings. It was delicious, nutritious and really gave me the fulfillment of chips. I also strongly disagree with 1200 cal/day. I did that for awhile and it had the opposite affect on me where I…

salads are great, hearty stews (veggies and protein), and wraps

It's hard to come across through text but when my coworker said "oh, salad again?" it was said with an eyeroll and a tone of voice of making fun of me. I wish it was an attempt for conversation, but it wasn't.

To reiterate, I never ever speak about my diet or health and fitness so I don't know why everyone assumes I talk about it. All the comments I receive is purely based on what people observe about me.

I really appreciate all the support in this thread. I think I'm just frustrated with being surrounded by these comments all the time. It's really almost every single meal time. So I might be projecting but I'm just a little frustrated.

In the lunchroom today, my coworker says to me "oh, salad again today?!" This is what's getting to me. In a professional setting, I'm being judged

And as for dating - most guys want to drink alcohol (which I don't) and they literally have told me that it bothers them. They always want to go out to eat and then I can't wolf down drinks, appetizers, a full meal, and then dessert!(and most don't want to share). Guys get really offended when I can't finish that much…

Because if I'm such an eyeroll for customizing my food/drink, then obviously they don't want to be around me. From all the other comments, I realized it's a particular friend of mine who is getting me worked up. This friend literally says "you're weird" to my face in an embarrassing way in front of waiters. I guess since…

I agree and I'm at a point in my life where I feel personally balanced. I like my daily diet and I eat and drink what I want. Just because my version of balanced is different than someone else's doesn't mean they have to judge me.
-
I feel my friends respect me as they put up with it but they still have to go out of their way to make a comment to me: "you don't want to drink alcohol?! You're only ordering milk instead of a coffee?!"

I never ever talk about fitness or nutrition because I don't want to ever impose or preach unless asked.

Hey how's round 2 going so far? I was going to do Insanity again but I'm at a point where I want to focus on weight loss and not performance. I put in way too much effort with Insanity to only lose a few pounds. Best of luck in round 2!

I love my lower body! I can lift lots of weight which feels powerful in that muscle group and I see results there. Plus I can't help but obsess over my glutes and know it's working ;)
-
First off I think we are all forgetting that we can't spot loss, so I would remain at your deficit to lose fat all over. I've been eating at a deficit and doing lots of squats, leg press, StairMaster, and cable workouts for my glutes and the results have been great. Make sure you workout all 3 areas of your glutes…

That's a great tip, thanks!

So now that the commercials are out, thoughts??? I'm kinda disappointed. http://www.ispot.tv/share/AZ9L

I also have to agree that I want to FEEL good. I don't "care" about the appearance aspect since before I lost weight, I already loved myself for what I looked like. The appearance is an added benefit but it's more important to ALWAYS love what you look like. After eating clean for months and then eating junk again, I…

My new motivation is Money $$$$ My bills have been pretty high in the recent months and so I noticed eating out is very costly. So that alone is a huge motivator for me to eat at home. I'll be eating healthier and saving money!

wow great info! Thanks everyone. Yes I would have to agree that I will now choose white rice over brown rice since I think the satisfaction factor scores higher for me than the fractional bit of fiber in brown rice. My rice portion is so small anyway that I think the difference is negligible.

I'm indifferent. Most of the time I can't tell and second when I can tell they are hitting on me, I don't believe it's genuine so I don't care. I feel the types of guys who hit on me just hit on any girl in sight so it's not flattering at all.

If you can open your diary that would be helpful. How is your dinner look? Make sure you have a good combination of fat, fiber, and protein. That will make you full and satisfied. Also get rid of all the treats. Get them out of the house so it is physically not possible to eat them. 1 or 2 nights of depriving yourself the…

yah it's weird. I think ever since my "lifestyle change" where I have been eating clean for months now, everything just tastes so good to me. I was shocked that I hardly added any spices or seasonings to my food yesterday and everything was so tasty! My oatmeal just had cinnamon and coconut oil (I love coconut!) and my…

So today is day 1 for me and I have to say I love the meals! They are delicious!
-
@SatiaRenee perfect thanks! so I guess we will be doing it together. I start tomorrow. Do you have an open diary?
-
Thanks for the clarification. Yes I was loggin 6 oz instead of 4 oz which made a HUGE difference! I'm still debating if I want to try this plan because I don't like the 2 hour windows. I may widen it to 2.5 hours instead. I'll be starting tomorrow if i do it. Also, do we have to drink the coconut oil? I'd rather just put…

Do any of you have open diaries for your 3day fix? I just pre-logged all my food for the 3 days and wow the numbers are skyrocketing above my daily goals. Is this correct? I'm getting 1900 calories, 74g carbs, 59g fat, and 248g of protein! That is crazy high! I'm doubting this plan now... Plus with the 2 hour spacing…
