Ask your doctor if Flector patches would be good for you. I suffer from various ailments and this patch works well for me, not at all like those over the counter garbage patches which were useless to me. Blessings.

Very helpful, thank you. I am presently on a deficit of 1220 calories. I started out needing to loose 22 lbs. I am 52 years old 5'6". My goal weight will put me in the higher end of the BMI scale so I am considering loosing an additional 5 lbs but I think trying to find my maintenance by trial and error would accomplish…

I think that's a personal preference. Some people like to see the fluctuations to see what foods/caloric intake works for them. I personally only way once a month. Blessings.

Many posts on this forum indicate minimum caloric intake for woman is 1200 and 1500 for men. That being said, we aren't doctors nor do we know her medical background, albeit 500 calories does seem dangerously low. Blessings

Just log everything and average it out over the week. If needed, move more with exercise. Blessings.

I am currently 162 lbs and I am eating 1220 calories a day. IMHO I think your intake is way too low. Is this what MFP allotted you? Blessings.

When did you change it? It may take a day or 2. When I started loosing weight, it took 1 1\2 days to lower my caloric intake. Blessings.

This thread has been very informative. 3500 =1 lb gain. Good to know, especially if we go over slightly. No need to be so hard on ourselves. It's most likely the ones NOT paying attention to CICO that get in trouble. Blessings.

I too send loving condolences. I have two sisters who also died from heat attacks albeit they did not take care of themselves. I went for a stress test due to fear of genetic heart issues. Time may not heal wounds but it teaches us how to move on. Blessings.

A small box of raisins are 90 calories. There are many treats that are lower in calories. Eat what you want to avoid bingeing, just fit it in to daily caloric allotment. Blessings.

Why not put your stats in MFP and see what number it gives you as MFPs calculation includes a deficit built it. Blessings.

Just like some people don't look their age. For some, it depends on how it is distributed, how tall they are, etc. Also exercise helps. Blessings.

I only weigh in once s month as I don't like seeing the fluctuations. I seem to to be doing well with this as I am down 7.4lbs this far within 48 days. I also don't have much to loose.

Tightening comes from exercise. Eat at a deficit and strengthen and tone your core. Blessings.
