When my F-n-L was born as a preemie; they would put a brick in front of the fireplace to warm it up, and wrap him up 3x; then swaddle him up, then wrap him up to the brick. He was wrapped up 3x so the brick woulld not burn him. I guess that was an old-time incubator.
