  • I have been through the same exact thing. I think people on tese forums sometime try to get on their high horse. Its really easy to slack off on counting your calories when you are in a relationship. Especially a new relationship with a lot of dates and junk food gifts lol After losing weight last year and entering a new…
  • My friend just told me the other day that she adds a scoop of protein instead of creamer. I tried it and it was delicious. Try blending with ice for a caffienated meal replacement!
  • Those are actually my top 2 favorites as well! I also love Kraft Lite Balsamic Vinegarette. I think its 20 calories per serving and it tastes delicious on almost everything!
  • I am a whopping 4'11" SW: 156 lbs CW: 139 Goal is 129 lbs. 10 to go!
  • Reading this while eating Nutella... lol maybe try buying the snack size ones that are already portioned out? Its easier for me to stop eating if the manufacturers pre measure for me lol
  • Hey all, I'm 22! I lost 20 lbs over the last year and hope to lose about 20 more! Feel free to add me as a friend
  • @SFCStank yes i will be entering vet school in the fall and want to try to apply for the health professions scholarship to help pay for school. I plan on going into the Veterinary corps after I get my DVM either way at this point however, even if i don't get the scholarship.
  • Thanks for all of the advice! I am pretty fit already (or at least i would consider myself fit lol) I can run 2 miles (pretty slowly) and push ups and situps are no problem. I just have to drop some more weight. Like I said, i have already lost 20 lbs (not for the military). I will measure myself. I am entering vet school…
  • If I'm going out to a restaurant, i look up the menu ahead of time, try to find the calorie content for the menue if possible and decide what I am going to have before we get to the restaurant. That way, I can feel confident and comfortable while I am out
  • I've been thinking the same thing. I've lost 10 lbs and i already feel a lot better but my BMI says i should lose another 25 lbs to he out of the "overweight" range. I am very short though
  • Honestly on my vacation i walked so much i didn't have to really worry about what I ate. I also only got about 1 good meal a day because i stayed so busy
  • I overall just want to be fit and healthy. I guess in my mind i just thought I'd feel better 10 lbs lighter but I don't yet.
  • I wouldn't eat less than 1200 but if you are really concerned you could just try to be more active today. Burn some extra calories :)
  • Yesterday when hanging out with my friend, we went out and got chicken wings and french fries. I had worked hard all week so I wasn't concerned about splurging but I found that I was full after eating only half of what I ordered! When i logged what I had eaten i still had calories left for the day! A few weeks ago I would…
  • I started my period today and was wondering the same thing. How do i avoid gaining a ton of weight while on my period when all I feel like doing is eating and sleeping?
  • Its because you are eating it every day. And probably not 2500 calories worth....
  • Just stick with it! You can do it! Try to make small goals for yourself and don't be too hard on yourself when you mess up because it will happen. Try finding something you can do other than eat when you are stressed like exercise or do a puzzle. You could also prepare healthy snacks in advance so that when you do feel an…
  • @Annie_01 i will try logging every day! @barbecuesauce I'm not sure, I'm a college student on summer break so all I do is read and watch tv haha i will have to figure out a different reward
  • How do you link Sworkit to MFP? I haven't figured it out yet lol
  • I just started using Sworkit and I love it! Its simple and flexible so you can workout whenever you have time
  • That sounds about right, I think I need some other kind of reward for my weigh in day maybe... I'm just not sure what
  • See when i haven't lost anything I tighten up my diet, but when i have lost I think well... i can afford a cookie.. or two... and it just goes down from there. I'm still losing overall but i feel like a am really slowing myself down this way
  • I am definitely not a calorie counting nazi. I don't weigh or measure my food most of the time, i just eyeball it. However, before i choose what to eat, i look to see the calorie content and choose what to eat based on that. I do log it in MFP but i am by no means the most accurate. Simply put, check the calories. Is…
  • This may be total hogwash but i have found that when I go to bed hungry (to the point that my stomach is growling) i usually wake up a pound or 2 lighter haha don't starve yourself but like someone else said, its ok to be hungry sometimes
  • I did the exact same thing a couple weeks ago. I only gained 3 lbs but as soon as i got back on track, i burned it off within a week. Its probably mostly water weight. Just stay really focused and it will fall back off. Expecting to never have setbacks is unrealistic :)
  • I do 1 scoop of Eas Soy Protein powder (chocolate) 1 tbs unsweetened cocoa powder 1 banana 1 tbs peanut butter 1 cup almond milk 1 handful of spinach Its so yummy and tastes just like dessert. Its anywhere between 350-400 calories depending on the peanut butter you use
  • With my recipes, i usually go off how many servings the recipe says it makes. (Usually if it gives a range i go with the lower end. Ex: recipes says 4-6 servings, i tell mfp that it is 4 servings) With potato salad u could measure out how many cups the recipe made. Say it made 12 cups then log it as 12 servings. MFP will…
  • you did this in 16 months?????
  • There's that saying that you will notice change after 4 weeks and your friends will notice after 8? Idk how true that is but I'm at 4 weeks and I am just starting to notice changes in my muscle tone. If the saying is true you have a couple of weeks to go until people start noticing lol
  • Sometimes our body gets into a groove. I would suggest changing up what you eat. Still stick to 1200 calories a day but may try some new recipes if you always eat the same thing. Instead of walking, try cycling or something different. It could just be that your body is comfortable maintaining what you have been doing and…
