  • My wife does a low(er) carb diet and she had her gallbladder removed a few years ago. Pretty much the only thing I remember she can't eat is eggs or anything really greasy (which you probably want have on low carb anyhow).
  • 25lbs, 86days. But that's with some lifting and muscle gain. I'm down 3 belt notches and from a 2xl shirt to an xl.
  • Just remember the numbers on the scale are just numbers. Just because they don't move or even go up doesn't mean you aren't progressing. Your body can hold water or gain muscle mass. Doesn't mean you aren't burning fat. The body measurements thing is a great idea. I do it and only wish I'd have taken more measurements…
  • They are fine I've used them the whole time no issues. Also the Dasani versions as well.

  • I try to keep it under 30. Most day I have around 20ish. But everyone will be different I'm sure.
  • I say no. I tried it when I first started. Took almost an entire week to get back into it. When I'm out of keto I have cravings and want to eat a lot more food. Just my opinion.
  • Congrats on the weight loss! I don't know about bullet proof coffee. I just put a tsp of cream, and a couple drops liquid stevia in mine no issues staying in Ketosis. Breakfast example:I'll have like 3-4strips of bacon and half an avacado w/ 1oz cream cheese. Or 2-3 scrambled eggs w/ 3oz sausage. Just depends Lunch: Lunch…

  • I work in Helath Information Management, definitely an interesting read.... It's an ever changing field. Unfortunately they are limited by willingness to participate, and truthfulness as far as Patient generated data. Also because so much is done online/on computers/e-charts and many of the age ranges of people who are…
  • Try the "Low carber daily group" lots of good info

  • Not nauseous, but Def a reduction in appetite. I don't know how many calories I used to eat daily, but just on volume of food I probably eat half or less now. I'm usually only hungry twice a day, 3 on gym days. I'm 48 days in now, and I have trouble meeting my caloric goal unless I eat big meals.
  • Nice. B) For me the cleaner pores/blackheads thing seems just the opposite. I have more pimples etc, than I had as a teenager going through puberty. I assume it's from all the testosterone/hormones released.
  • You'll probably lose a lot of numbers off the scale in the first week or 2, mostly water weight. I lost 8lbs in the first 2 weeks. You'll be surprised how much your appetite is suppressed, I probably eat half the volume of food I used to and feel satisfied. Don't forget plenty of sodium/salt.
  • This! I didn't see your second post. But yeah you definitely would, but that's not necessarily a good thing. To little of caloric intake can be unhealthy. You may want to consider a few more calories for a safer long-term loss. You could always enhance it with something like intermittent fasting or something. .but 800 a…
  • It really depends on the amount your taking in. To much can be bad, but so can to little. I believe the recommended is on average 2300mg. But if your like me on a really low carb diet you need much more (5000ish). The more you work out the more you would need extra sodium. I would guess if your eating regular food and not…
  • I think raspberries are relatively low, if you don't eat to many.
  • Went with the wife to buy some new pants yesterday. I knew I had lost waist size because my belt is on the last notch. B4 I started dieting and working out again, I was at a 46/48 (depending on brand), yesterday I'm down to a 40. Even those have some extra room. Hoping to get down to a 36 where I used to be. Very suprised…

  • Yep, I drink 90-100oz of water a day and some days that's not enough. Plus salt or the headaches will be brutal.
  • Nice! That's roughly the same amount I need to lose, I'm down 11.5lbs so far. Did you do a lot of cardio for the hiit, or just weights?
  • I don't think 800 is good for a long term goal. Seems like to much of a deficit. One of the ideas behind a Keto diet is your gonna burn a little more fat anyhow, so why go so low? If you race to the "finish" you may get burnt out along the way.
  • Yea pretty crazy, I'm curious how his body fat % will/won't change at the end, or if coming off the calories has any effect after he's done. I wish we new his total expenditure each day, I imagine as a body builder he's killing it at the gym. Still hard to use up 4k calories.
  • I'm finding I eat far less volume than I used to. Idk the exact calories I took in each day previously, but my goal is set to 1800, and now i find it hard to meet this on many days.
  • I lost 8lbs first 2 weeks, 10 total in 4 weeks. (Almost 2 weeks with no loss, then a 2lb dip) My Wife who's only doing low(er) carb has lost 15lbs in the same period.... no real way to tell how much anyone will lose.
  • I get the Avacado oil from Publix (don't know the brand but they only have like 2). Very good to add healthy level of fat. Plus I'm allergic to coconut so that's out of the question.
  • I would be careful what it is you do take, as some are pitched towards bulking for body building. I take a multi vitamin 3x daily, try to plan my dinner meal a few hours before gym time, with decent protein and fat. Then after the workout I eat a small amount of protein(actual meat), for recovery. I'm 5'10 243lbs…
  • There's a Bud Select 55, that has less than 2carbs... though I warn you it tastes like water.
  • Sounds good. If you want something salty you can roast the pecans in butter in a sauce pan, and sprinkle with salt, and a little garlic powder/garlic salt.
  • I second the messuring, and would suggest taking pics of yourself from all angles to compare later. I just came off a 2 week plateau (only lost a half lb during then). The numbers on the scale stayed the same, but the numbers on the tape measure sure moved. Stay with it, when the scale finally changed again for me I…
