That's because you're not eating enough. Same thing happened to me. I added more calories and started losing again. Eating too little is as bad as eating too much.
-
Wow! I didn't know that. Thank you so much!

It's not a Fitbit, but thank you!

I hear ya lol There's an old saying that says "nothing tastes as good as thin feels". So true.

Thank you so much! That was very kind and considerate of you. Yes, with time I may allow myself a small treat. I sometimes eat a protein bar and find it very satisfying. To me, this is a new way of life and not a diet. I realize that I'm probably among the minority in here, but that's ok. Sometimes different is good. <3

I think some of y'all misinterpreted my post. I was not insinuating that y'all we're eating "garbage". I said that prior to eating healthy, I, personally, was eating garbage. I mean, 3/4 cup of margarine on a baked potato is a heart attack waiting to happen. And 2 candy bars, plus a pint of Ben & Jerry's in replacement of…

I totally agree! I will have an occasional Protein Bar from time to time, but I just personally choose not to eat unhealthy junk food. Yes, I realize that most are accustomed to CICO, however, I prefer to take it one step further and stick with "healthy" CICO. But that's not for everyone. Now I'm craving salad lol :D

Absolutely! And congrats to you! <3

@thiosulfate I never insinuated that anyone was eating "garbage". I said that I, personally, was eating garbage, prior to eating healthy. You can lose 100 lbs and still be unhealthy. We're talking high blood pressure, high cholesterol, clogged arteries etc. My step dad is only about 140 lbs, but has almost died on two…

Well, I'm not sure if this is considered taboo for the message boards, but my greatest strength comes from God. The more I put my faith and trust in Him, the better my life gets. I am so very sorry for your losses and I pray that you are able to find that joy that you once had. Perhaps God has sent this beautiful new grand…

As for me, even on meds my blood pressure had spiked to 142/97. But after just 3 weeks of eating healthy and exercising, it dropped to 110/79. That was several weeks ago, so I hope it's still good. Best wishes to you!

Omg! Y'all are doing FANTASTIC!!!!!! I'm so proud of each and every one of you! That's quite an accomplishment. Keep up the good work! <3

I eat loads of protein. Fills you up and generally lasts quite awhile. I eat lots of low fat cottage cheese, boiled eggs and whey protein shakes. And occasional protein bar for a treat. Lots of water really help too.

I am not post injury or post surgery, however, I have crippling arthritis in my legs, knees and feet and am basically unable to do anything for exercise due to the excruciating pain. I'm only able to do some very light leisurely walking around my house. However, having been very strict with my calories in/calories out, I…

That's fantastic! Congrats! Best wishes to you on your weight loss and your military duties. God bless!

Awesome job! Congrats on a job well done!

Sweet! I'm so excited now! Thank you so much for your patience with my questions. Best wishes on your maintenance. <3

Is that only for the purposes of sharing the info and data?

LOL gotcha :D

Rheumatoid arthritis in my legs, knees and feet, reducing my ability to exercise to just a few leisurely steps everyday, when I'm not in my wheelchair. I did one full mile the other day and still can't walk, due to the pain it caused. Guess I have to soley rely on CICO. I'm buying a step counter next week and going to…

Hahaha that's too cute! I get my disability on the 1st, so I'll look into getting one. My phone step tracker totally malfunctioned today. I walked for 15 minutes and it was still at 2 minutes. Grrrr!!!!

Thank you for the advice! Think I'll focus on losing the weight first and then approach the "quit smoking" demon.

Very good point.

Thank you @Noel_57 !! :)

I think about eating non-stop, but I make it a point to keep all junk food out of the house. It's hard, because my husband is a compulsive over eater, due to numerous meds that increase appetite, so sometimes I'm drooling while he's pounding down a bag of Fritos or chips, but I just focus on how far I've come and it's…

My sister is always asking me how much I've lost, so I tell her. For crying out loud, I'm losing an average of 2 lbs a week, but when I tell her that, she gets this really disappointed tone in her voice and says, "oh, ok", as if she expected more. This isn't a freakin sprint! 13.6 lbs in 7 weeks is HUGE for me! Gimme' a…

Oh ok. Can't seem to find my "Diet Profile". Where is that?

Thank you! :)
