How do I record my daily steps?

Ok, so, I ordered a step tracker and it will be here on Friday. Says you can't sync it with your phone or computer, so how do I record it each day to share with all of my friends? Do I just post a status update?

That sounds like a good idea.1

If it's a Fitbit then you can sync the two apps! If not, you'll have to manually post like you said. Good luck!1

The status update sounds like a good idea.
For exercise purposes, I would change your activity level (and not add as exercise). If you set your activity level to sedentary, then MFP already gave you credit for some steps. A synced device would record the "difference."
