Only with chocolate chips in it... Pierogies.

Happy Tuesday...rainy, flash flood warnings, dreary day. My morning routine was interrupted so I was in work by 5:15 a.m. Early day out at 1:15. Kind of tired so I'm hoping I make myself stop at the gym. Already had three cups of coffee and still tired. Carpe diem.

Just for Today: I won't dive into the peanutbutter jar after work.

Happy Monday. Short work-week this week and I leave for a 4-day art workshop on Wednesday...bringing my sneakers and mat with me. Hope I use 'em. Carpe diem.

I like both Detour and Pure Protein. I find the Quest bars like chewing gum. Premiere Protein bars okay but a little rich for my blood, calorically speaking.

OMG. You don't look a day over 8!

Yay it's Friday...and still raining. Tired of the hour-long commute, so up at 4, played around on Internet, made doggie poop in yard instead of her walk, and got in by 6:30--which meant only a 24-minute drive. On the agenda is a 5k run after work, long Yoga class, and in bed early. Carpe diem.

Imagine my shock when I discovered barely over my TBSP was the 30 grams. If you're good with underestimating, don't use the scale. Same with my cup measures--they are way off.

I fell once on a rails to trails path in the Catskills. The only reason I was up immediately and running without knowing the full extent of damages is because there were houses. Shredded the knees of my running pants, blood on them, gravel in my palms and a scrape on my chin. I seriously think getting up and running…

Nearly all my vacations and trips are backpacking! I have a special affinity for backpacking in the mountains. That redcoat is me, and yes, my backpack is missing. The porter has it at that elevation because breathing was an enormous difficulty, lol:

Where the heck is the laughing emoji here? I'd say replace the obnoxious "woo" with a grin. But the mirror is still up and it's still gray here, though thinking about those south of me awaiting Florence's arrival. Sure hope the weathermen keep their past accuracy up and it turns into a dud. Good run last night, will do a…

I don't think metabolism slows down, but I think activity becomes way less. I lost between the ages of 47 and 56, 97 pounds, but really stepped up my activity along with changing my diet.

Happy Wednesday. My eyes must be broken because everyday I'm only seeing gray. One heckuva a rainy season.

Good gloomy morning here today. Passed several Federal Protective Services/Homeland Security vehicles on the way in today and coupled with the gray outside, cast a pall on a solemn day. Started off with Yoga and hopefully will run off some of the yuckies after work today. A good day to remember Carpe diem.

Aside from being assumed into the heavens while still alive, I'll choose dying in my sleep at the ripe old age of 250.

I'm 56, so I'm probably the market that could be your mother. I would notice and it would not have a positive impact, although I'd prefer a GREAT PT with piercings as opposed to a meh PT without. I recognize the world is a vastly different place from my youth and it's my job to get used to it and judge people less for what…

Actually glad it's Monday. Had an old friend I haven't seen in a few years over Saturday night. Didn't get to bed until 4 a.m. after way too much wine, which made me not give a crap about eating way too many sweets and carbs that day and next day. I.feel.lousy physically and I'm still freaking tired. Now I know why I don't…

Good Friday! I'm not sure where traffic went this morning either, but I'll take it. I seemed to have replaced lifting and some cardio with Yoga. But today is a run and Yoga. There's been no change in weight or the trend numbers on my scale for body fat/muscle mass/bone mass, etc., so I'll ride this wave a while since it's…

TeresaW1020 Your pastor's "retreat" sounds wonderful--alone in Alaska! Enjoy The King and I--that one is even before my time. Theslightedgeforever I'm not sure why the gait changed, but the tech did say it could be from weight loss. Apparently I'm totally straight until the "last possible moment" I pronate at the…

Good morning. I've got to stop complaining about the NJ heat and humidity. So I won't mention it today :) Good Vinyasa Yoga class last night, but no running because.....Carpe diem!

Good morning. Did I see "shoe shopping"???? :) I'm headed to Thailand and Bali in Oct/Nov and enjoyed buying new hiking shoes and running shoes. My gait has slightly changed after losing all the weight, but still in a neutral shoe. I'm limited on luggage space, so I'll be "renting" a yoga mat when I'm there instead of…

14 pounds from my high school weight. Stupid, useless goal, but a goal nonetheless. I should be vastly entrenched in a size 6 at that point. And my running should be vastly improved by that.

Spaghetti gravy and pasta.

Two of them: Fit in an 8 regular, not a 10, not an 8 curvy, but 8 regular. I hit on my Fitbit VO2 max estimate, "You are in excellent condition for a female your age."

Morning Yoga before anyone gets up.

Old Navy. Right price. Right fit. A lot of options. My daughter swears by GymShark though.

THIS. Intuitive eating is great for me for maintaining. I cannot do it for losing. I truly find I think about food less when eating intuitively, and I like that. I recognize it is a mind game. I learned a lot of tools over the years from WW and MFP, and it's nice being able to employ them without thinking about it while…

Good morning. It's hot. It's muggy, for like the 90th day in a row. Come on Fall. I have some travel coming up which I hope will motivate me to lose a few more pounds of fat. I eat "intuitively" and it's working out great--for maintaining. Carpe diem.

Good morning girlies!!! Instead of making Kofta, I bought a Groupon to an Indian restaurant that I love. Maybe next week, lol. And am I the only person who can pigout and overeat watermelon, mango, strawberry and plain yogurt? I really find it hard to believe I stuffed myself last night on that. Carpe diem.

LOL. You run two turkey trots nearly daily.
