I've lost some weight but hadn't really noticed the difference in my body until last weekend. I wore my favorite capri pants and they were falling off me all day. I couldn't believe it. They were always loose on me, but they stayed on. It felt great.19

1. My wedding band fits and I now wear it all the time instead of squeezing it on whenever I leave the house.
2. I’m in love with my hip bones when I’m laying in bed.
3. I can wear my sister’s size 14 hand me down shorts in public now! As they fit better and better I can wear a bigger variety of shirts with them (that fit closer to the body).
4. I went on a week long vacation, didn’t log anything I ate, and came back the same weight as before I left.
5. My mental health has been SO much better! I attribute it to eating cleaner, moving more, and doing a better job of making myself a priority. I have insisted on one hour a week out of the house with no kids which I usually use for a Pilates class or a workout at the gym. So mentally freeing!26 -
My In-laws noticed my weight loss when I saw them last. It was nice for it to be noticed!21

Wonderful job, everyone!! And no NSV is a small or silly one; all successes should be celebrated!!
Ok, so heads up - maybe some TMI. I was having some 'business time' with my partner today and he rubbed my belly...which in the past would make me so ashamed and I'd cry for days and sometimes we'd even fight. But today, it was...empowering? I felt so strong and sexy! I mentioned how good it made me feel and he lit up! I still have some work to do but I think this may be a new area for us to enjoy moving forward! It's incredible, 14 years and we still discover things about each other, through each other. He's always loved my body, belly and all. I just couldn't see that till now, when I love it too.32 -

I can now swap clothes with "the skinny sister."24

I’ve had two victories recently. First, my husband and I went on our first mountain hike on a trip to Mt. Rainier. The trail was rated easy overall, but it had beautiful views and parts of the trail had moderate challenges due to large roots and uphill climbs. For me, it felt like such an accomplishment to challenge myself to workout in a different way.
My second NSV came with making my first purchase of leggings at Lululemon. I had been intimidated to even go into one of their stores for a long time. Size 14 and 12 seemed to be phantom sizes online (they are shown to have that size but it’s mysteriously never in stock) so I’d assumed the store would be the same. Also, I’d had a bad experience when I was heavier with some some snotty ladies being rude to me as I was waiting on a friend to show up just outside a Lulu store. A new store opened up near me and I decided to go in and buy the highest size they had even if it had to be a “goal” pair. I bought a pair of size 12 (no 14 to be found) and they fit great.24 -
Yesterday I tried orienteering and I loved it!14

This morning, I had a huge amount of trouble getting the zipper up on my dress. It's a dress that hasn't fit before, so I thought "no big deal, I'm just not there yet."
Then I tried to zip it up again to re-hang it, and it still wouldn't zip. The zipper was bent! I managed to zip it past the trouble area, and decided to try it again. I was able to put the dress on half-zipped with little issue, and it's actually a little loose! I've made more progress than I thought.34 -
Showed up for Week 2 of running class. Was lapped by many, 30 years younger, but I have more experience being out of shape than they do! I’m not giving up.38

Finally got back to rock climbing! I went bouldering on Sunday and had a great time!18

lol yes @Evelyn_Gorfram "business time" is intimacy The band Flight of the Conchords made a song called Business Time, and when we heard it years ago we couldn't stop laughing and now refer to it as such. If you'd like a laugh, it's worth a google!13

I went to the eye doctor this weekend for my annual check.
My doctor has a really nice leather armchair for the patients to sit in, but because of the size of my stomach, there was never enough room her to use the machine with me in that chair, and we had to switch to a much smaller, less comfy, plastic icky chair. It was embarrassing, and this had been an annual embarrassment for YEARS. I love her, but seriously considered switching doctors because I was so embarrassed.
So the first thing I did when I sat down was try to pull the equipment across and IT HAD PLENTY OF ROOM! And I got yelled at by my doctor for touching the machines. I apologized and explained why, and she said she has to move the chair for a lot of patients. Made me feel better that I wasn't alone, but DRAGONCHAIR conquered!
Also, another NSV at the eye doctor: I've lost enough weight that my astigmatism in my left eye has improved enough that my doctor strongly recommended new glasses -- which I got for myself as a reward. Her exact word: "Wow!" But apparently I can't lose my way to perfect eyesight, LOL.30 -

Two of them: Fit in an 8 regular, not a 10, not an 8 curvy, but 8 regular. I hit on my Fitbit VO2 max estimate, "You are in excellent condition for a female your age."26

At first I thought you were referring to a business parter, and then when I got to the belly rub part I thought: "What? Her business partner's a dog? No, wait, it was her belly so she --- Oh. Right. He's probably a different kind of partner."
OTOH, in the Flights of the Conchords sense, he is your "business" partner.

This morning I finally made it into onederland!! I would've been there sooner but I decided to enjoy a summer with friends and not worry too much about what I was eating hahaha. I also squeezed both of my thunder thighs into one leg in an old pair of size 22 pants

I know this sounds silly, but this is an NSV for me. I was actually able to bend down and tie my shoes without getting dizzy, groaning, or cramping.49

I said yelled, but it was a nice “don’t touch the equipment please,” more of a scolding, not a tongue lashing. She’s a very nice lady. (And I probably shouldn’t have touched it. I just had to know! )
