Thank you.
And heck yeah, my favorite brands are "clearance" and "on-sale"!16 -
My NSV for this week was that my poor fingers are no longer being strangled by my rings 😁22

Buying xs clothing at coles and it fitting well16

I love this thread - reminds me that this isn't just about weight and bmi- it's all about being able to live a fuller life. This past Saturday I spent 11 hours walking, standing, dancing and singing with my choir at the London Proms in the Park. 50lbs ago I would never have had the confidence to do that, I would have just felt awkward and embarrassed. My legs and hips would never have been able to take the punishment! I was even comfortable enough with myself to post a photo of me looking ridiculous (and pretty dreadful) in my plastic rain poncho. Before I would be too concerned about what others thought of me. Now I am older, wiser and 'normal enough that I don't really give a stuff what others think as long as I am having fun and not hurting anyone else. Liberating!39

First nsv is that I bought them safe in the knowledge they will actually fit in time. May not seem a big deal, but it's reinforcement that I still have self belief.
Second is that they are a UK size 10 & my very first pair from that shop was a UK size 20...prior to that I was a 22 & I couldn't buy them from this place as they wouldn't even go up over my thighs.
Third is that the 10s actually go all the way up & there's only about a half inch gap before I will be able to fasten them.
Shocked does not cover it! If I was to pinpoint a time prior to this that they would've *perhaps* fit, I'd have been around 10 years old.
So glad I bought them!
For no reason other than optimism, I tried these on again yesterday & they fasten, yay! Too much of a muffin top to wear just yet, but it's all "flooby" with water around there just now so...who knows?
Most interesting thing is the scale hasn't budged down in a month *shrugadugdug*17 -
Buttoning up some size 12 jeans. I haven't been able to do that since freshman year of college. (It's been 13 years) ...I just lost 53 lbs 🎉🎊🎉🎊59 -
My daughters arms go all the way round me when we hug. Happened for first time this morning. She was SO excited. That’s enough to keep me going.39

I swear my suit trousers feel a bit looser this morning, first time I've worn them in 4 weeks. And signed up to start with a couch 2 5k group in the park this evening. And signed up for some coaching and hynotherapy to deal with some of the food issues. Been a super productive day and it's only lunch time21

On my 3 mile Run, my average pace was 12.12. Usually I can do 12 something the first mile, then degrade to 13, 14. I couldn't believe it! I still don't - maybe something went wrong with the Strava app - LOL !28

Today I am wearing my "test shorts" that I couldn't even try to close in April. This is the first non stretchy clothing I have worn in years and they are comfortable.29

This one is kind of a win and fail - it’s started getting cold here and I’m going out for dinner tonight and...
... pretty much my entire wardrobe is too big for me
I have to wear high waisted jeans tonight because the others keep slipping down when I sit down and pretty much all of my tops look yuck and baggy
Thankfully I’ve got uniform for work and that looks awful no matter what
... looks like it’s time to hit the op shops for a few ‘interim’ clothes28 -
The shorts I bought at the beginning of the summer are getting too big - now I would need a smaller size, but I will make do with them until cooler weather arrives, there's no sense in buying new shorts now16

I wish there was some MFP or weight loss online store where we could all trade clothes as we're shrinking. Send in an old size 16 that are too baggy, get the smaller you wear.17 -
My spare tire is definitely getting smaller.
I was scratching my neck and felt something strange. It was my collarbone. I can feel my collarbones again!20 -
I ran 8 km in the forest (mainly on trails, some off trail), fell down, didn't break anything, found all checkpoints, got lost (twice) and came in second anyway. My new body is so much more fun 😀39

I started a health related Facebook group with friends a while back. I've been trying to encourage my friends who want to get fit and/or healthy to motivate each other & share in each others success on there. I think it's finally taking off. We now have weekly check ins similar to what we see around here. I really hope it helps my friends out as much as it has helped me out here in MFP land.20

Booking a flight and not worrying about fitting in the seat.30

Last weekend my husband and I went to the fair and rode all the rides!
I have always loved fair rides, and thirty years ago I was dating a guy who got sick on rides, so I asked a friend of a friend to take me to the fair, and we had a great time together. Well, I dumped the motion sick guy, and started dating the friend I had fun with. Fast forward and we've been married twenty-five years now.
The last time we went to the fair together was about five years ago, and I was too heavy to fit in most rides, had heart issues which made me afraid to try them anyway, and had trouble even walking the distances and standing in line. It was depressing and sad not to be able to do what I wanted. Now, my weight and size are not issues on rides, my heart is great, and I can run all over the midway for hours without even noticing I'm on my feet. In fact I walked all over the fair after running that morning! Carnies flirt with me. And I am confident in my food choices - I had chicken and polish sausage on a stick with a couples of bites of my husband's giant funnel cake, and came in well under my calories for the day.
My favorite ride (not my video):

So what comes after size 0 jeans? Woot!!16

Gone from 36” jeans to 32”!29

I did not eat my feelings when someone called me a fat @$$ when I was walking to my car. I journaled my feelings, played my piano, looked at my trending downward weight and cried a little bit and moved on. Success! Although not going to lie, I hate people a little more now, present company excluded.80

I successfully reintroduced peanut butter into my diet! As long as the ingredients are just peanuts, I won't get sick. Yay! Now I just need to work on moderation
Also met my new GI doctor for the first time, and for once I have someone not concerned about my weight. He also said it seems like my Crohn's is stable, so now all I need to do is focus on reducing the inflammation. Not an easy task at all, but at least all the other noise is taken care of. Maintenance is great!29 -
I no longer feel like the elephant in the room!33

A family of 3 (parents in their 60s, daughter in her 40s) sees me at work for the 1st time in a year. They can't stop saying how good I look (since losing weight), how amazing, unbelievable, handsome etc. It was a bit embarrassing, but totally *kitten* awesome too!27

After a week of doing really good, I notice I fit into my chef coat better. Normaly I feel like a stuffed sausage bursting at the seams. That made for a good motivator!27

People can be such *kitten* at times! You do you, and you're doing great! Also, congratulations on not eating your feelings! That's a huge step13
