To lose weight you must burn more calories than you consume. Calories consumed is eating and is pretty easy to track with a food scale and MFP. Calories out is typically exercise which is very hard to calculate and takes a ton of energy and time to burn a lot of calories. I'd focus on the easier part of the equation first…

It's up to the OP of how they want to look and how they want to feel. For me, I regret not doing some lifting while I was losing. I'm not talking 4 days in the gym, I mean like 2 days to try to keep what I had. Bc now I trying to get a happy booty bc mine looks really sad.

Another vote for nerve damage. Physical therapy has been very helpful.

They don't work. You lose water weight and the gain everything back when you start eating again on day 4. I'm sure your goal is fatloss and not just scale weight so consider re-evaluating why you've hit a plateau. Bc on day 4, you'll just be right back at your plateau again after your juice only diet.

How are measuring your "under 2000 calories"? I suggest using a food scale to measure your foods if you haven't already. Is this a new work out routine? If so, it could be water retention.

Alcohol?

Mustard, salsa, dry to the bone sandwiches, avocado (not low in cals obviously), oil/vinegar

Does your body tell the difference between a natural vs added sugar?

Preplan your day and include ice cream.

I use it in shakes, sautees, salad dressing, marinades, I use it in cooking cookies too.

Sorry you didn't get the response you were hoping to get.

Yes! The challenge is accurately calculating both the input and the output. Hence using a food scale is a key tool to maintaining/losing/gaining weight to calculate input. Calculating the output is an educated guess.

Because otherwise you'd be dead or in a hospital if your liver and kidneys were not running optimally.

I'd eat at maintenance but try to get some nutritionally packed foods to help your body fight off the infection.

I'm assuming wine is involved?

I agree with most replies above but also, you're not going to lose 7lbs of weight every month. You wrote "lots of vegetables" in your post. How many grams and which type of vegetable is a lot?

Popcorn, carrots, celery

I suggest using measurements. I've found that I can more easily buy clothes using my actually waist size versus store sizes. Men's sizing does this the right way (although I've also heard that a 32" in men's isn't always a 32").

Hello, internet here....I was simply curious. But the word can is certainly used to be encompass a wide variety of scenarios. When I running I can get hit by a car. I can also get hit by a car while walking. I can also eat a sammich while doing both.
-
I'd say both but weight lifting has given me a better body shape than cardio in the long run.

Honestly, you don't need a gym right away. Maybe do some body weight stuff before May? Also, people thing gym time has to be 2 hours long. If you have a plan and stick to the plan, you can get a great workout in 30 mins.

I use plain half and half. 2 tbsps is 40cals.

Losing 40lbs of fat doesn't require exercise. Only a calorie deficit. A fitness coach can help you with fitness and nutrition but losing fat all comes down to calories.

The comment about how easy it is for other people to lose weight isn't fair to those people who, from the outside looking in, make weight loss effortless. Everyone loses weight by eating less calories than they burn. To assume that someone else just breathes and it comes off is kind of a dig to that person who might be…

Start lifting heavy things!

As a future tip...try to separate your logs based on ingredients in the meal and not the meal itself for example instead of searching for "cheeseburger", you'd searched for "raw ground round", "American cheese", "iceberg lettuce", "mayo", "ketchup", "tomato" etc. You'll be much more accurate and a lot of those generic…

You'll learn through trial and error what keeps you full or curbs cravings. For me, it wasn't until I upped my protein significantly that I felt super full and didn't feel hungry much. But I still feel hungry sometimes. Also, sweat doesn't exactly equal fat loss. It's being in a calorie deficit that does the trick.
